I'm asking out of curiosity, are you guys experiencing a surge of gambling ads on youtube videos lately? this past week I've experienced an increased encounter of gambling ads on videos I watch on youtube. it's not that it bothers me, I am just surprised because I don't remember getting this many gambling ads on youtube videos in the past, but this past week, I usually get a gambling ad from 2-3 out of 5 videos I watch(it's just an estimation because of how often I get the ads). I don't know if it is because I recently watched several videos of streamers gambling or it's just a coincidence, I've watched streamers gambling videos in the past but I have never gotten this many gambling ads.
If i'm not mistaken, ever since Youtube uplifted its ban on gambling ads, that's how whenever you are watching any of these kinds of videos (i.e gambling related, investment related or how to make money related videos), you will always come across those ads, of which I think maybe this period you might have been watching more of either of those 3 kinds of videos often for you to have been shown more of gambling ads, which I have also noticed about Facebook recently displaying gambling and the very ads I noticed the most is "Coin master".
I use a Android smartphone and a desktop PC, I have noticed that what we look for using google search engine will impact how our phones react in giving out information, news and advertisements, it's like those gadgets are build in a way that they know their users better than anyone, once I look into Chelsea football club, my prebuilt news app will always give me updates about Chelsea football club and important information going on with the football club.

What you use your gadgets for will be the way it will function on the users behalf, It doesn't take a thing to find out if your friends are fraudsters or por* addicts, just get a hold of their phone of PC, without looking into their search or browser history you will know what they have been up too.

For a long I've been seeing gambling ads getting popped on YouTube and other social media. Recently ban was imposed on gambling platforms and the same had made it get lower. However the gambling platforms continue its service in the name of games. Now the next set of development is games which can be played placing bets. The most common being the Ludo.
Yes, that is a natural thing because on YouTube there are many active users who can view gambling advertisements at any time. There are even many streamers who use YouTube as their media, offering gambling referrals and showing their broadcasts playing gambling on the casino site that he offers.
Games that can be played by placing bets seem quite interesting and provide their own characteristics, but I'm not sure they can be developed immediately for now.
I myself have never seen Ludo playable in online gambling and I don't think casinos will add this one game.

Yeah, many people switch to youtube nowadays maybe because streaming in youtube because they can earn more in that platform and it will help them to monetize their channel easily because many people will see gambling ads they will try to stream that and I am sure people will be interested to see some influential people in yt gamble.
What is clear for sure is that a streamer does advertising or broadcasts gambling streams which he does because he can get more profit.
The first is from YouTube itself, he can get a certain amount of payment if he already has a lot of followers plus from the referrals that are shared if many people use it, you can be sure that the bonus from the referrals is also quite large.
YouTube is still free for gambling advertising and live streaming and we can see for ourselves that more and more people are using YouTube as their media for gambling advertising.

Are you bothered by the gambling advertisement, i advise you to have lots of YouTube accounts so that the videos that are recommended to you are not just gambling sites.  As far as i know, YouTube will give you advertisements based on what you often watch, and when you often watch gambling streamers, YouTube will automatically recommend gambling sites (there's nothing wrong with just skipping the ad) that advertise themselves on Google for most of the videos you watch.

Of course, more and more advertising is being made to gamble. But I think gambling recvloes themselves are not allowed with the ads of gambling in Youtube. I think that you should think more about advertising through influencers, it is not prohibited there, although the rules differ per country. Many advertisements are indirect advertisements for gambling. And social media is nowadays a very powerful channel to advertise and it is used a lot.

Several social apps, namely Facebook, YouTube, twitter and the likes do have a way they monitor what  a user is most interested and is searching on the internet, that which you are most interested in and have searched on the internet is what you are likely to start seeing on different ads when you visit any site that allows ad.

So personally, the best way to avoid ads i believe is to stop searching on the internet, and this is mostly not possible for several internet users, but all the same, the ads aren't bad, for it is everywhere, if we don't see the internet ones, we will definitely see the physical ones.

There's nothing surprising about that. Youtube is one of the most famous platforms, watched anywhere in the world where there is a stable Internet connection. Advertising allows you to monetize the work of bloggers and stylists. In my opinion, advertising is one of the most common marketing practices that works very well and allows you to attract new customers to the product. So someone who doesn't want to pay for content has to watch advertising. And this is quite normal.

In general, as far as I know youtube, tiktok etc. it's a little strange with the ads that appear, what we often watch, that's what often comes out, sometimes the ads are annoying, but it is a must and obligation for the YouTube Channel, because the money flows from the ads.

Gambling advertisements, indeed they often appear on YouTube, TikTok etc., because I think that advertising is a part of YouTube, so I ignore it, I often ignore these gambling advertisements, but I didn't count in one round of the video how many gambling advertisements came out, what is clear is that gambling advertisements often appear.

I've seen a couple of them on YouTube and elsewhere on some other websites too, but if you've been seeing that way too much lately it could indicate that you've been engaging in gambling during that time as well. I mean you mentioned that you've been watching several streamers gambling which could have an impact on the ads you receive IMO.

Nowadays, marketing relies on smart tools that precisely knows exactly your interests allowing them to display ads related to those interests across various platforms, such on (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter... etc)
That is done through cookies, every website has cookies and you agree with them to collect information and details about what you click and what you use, or what you watch mostly on that particular website, and websites and services exchange information with each other for monetary gains which makes you a target for a specific brand that is advertising a particular product on that platform.

It is a very simple yet complex system that is running everywhere these days. I've even heard that if you are chatting with a friend and you mention that you want to buy shoes, you will start receiving advertisements for shoes after that. That is how much the level of marketing has increased.

One thing that protects most is adequate information, and once that is in place, anything is achievable to a gambler and you would be deceived easily by an influencer who is just out for his marketing, this is one of the main reason why they act will fade away soon since no one will be paying attention to them in the nearest future because even the newbies will grow to gain the same knowledge that can help him/her to navigate around.
Many beginners will see the ads on YouTube because they are looking for the videos they want and accidentally see a gambling ad. That will make them curious and want to know more so many of them start visiting the gambling sites in the ad. But unfortunately, this is not accompanied by sufficient knowledge to find legitimate and scam casinos so many of them are deceived by irresponsible influencers and only want to look for referrals. If the rookie is not aware of what he is doing, he is just depositing money into the casino without being able to withdraw the money and will surely lose all his money at the gambling table.
Such in a situation a beginner indulge in gambling. Especially on sports betting sites. Those who have a little idea about sports, when they search Youtube, these ads come to the site and even add ads on the screen of the user, it is not a problem for them to enter there with just one click. But since they don't know anything they will accept fraud from scam sites. There is no alternative way to remove him from such gambling. But those who have knowledge about gambling they cannot make such mistakes.
Only caution can keep them away from scam casinos and not fall for the offers they see. But usually, after getting a scam casino, those aware of it will try to improve themselves so they don't get scammed again. And they also will not carelessly click on the ads because they have learned from previous experiences. But that's not for those who never learn from experience and can even be deceived repeatedly by the many advertisements they see. Only a few can survive by avoiding such deceptive advertisements, while others will suffer losses.
Nowadays advertisements come in such a way that one cannot be avoided even if one wants to skip. He has to skip after watching at least a few seconds. And within this little time a new person can join gambling. Yes, awareness is the only way a gambler can be financially protected. But those who don't know about gambling have nothing to do for those who are completely new. But those who are at least knowledgeable about the various sites, who have heard something about online fraud, may be able to exercise some caution, but many are trapped by the scammers attract.
Those who often experience fraud should not be easily fooled for the umpteenth time because they have experience knowing fraudulent casino sites. But unfortunately, the temptation to get a bigger bonus keeps them trying even though in their hearts they know that it's a fraud. But they hope that this time they will not be fooled again because they still think that something is different about the casino site. The fraudulent advertisements on social media or Youtube that they see are not much different from the previous ones but because the temptation is too good, they get caught up in the scam.

Youtube will adjust what you see often, so there will be a difference between each other. If I were you, I wouldn't problem because that automatically adds our reference. And maybe next, if you want to be specific about what appears in ads, you must watch frequently crypto gambling or what you like. And, is better to create a new Google account just to watch it, so if you are bored, you can use your old Google account to make gambling ads disappear on your PC or TV.

Currently, when I start watching videos on YouTube channels, there are various advertisement videos from different sites. This is actually very annoying as various promotional advertisements from gambling are served in the middle of watching an important video. But one important thing is that along with these advertisements, Gambling sites provide advertisements for their business success. In this case, the success of gambling sites is that many users, especially teenagers, are addicted to gambling after watching YouTube videos, so gambling sites are constantly getting new users. But a negative role in gambling is that hundreds of students at school level are getting addicted to gambling by watching these YouTube videos, thus causing serious damage to their education.
Video ads will always depend on your previous activities, so if you do search a lot about gambling then expect your ads to more about gambling. Google and youtube are quiet connected and other social media platform, they have the system to detect your activities and if you allow it, expect to receive more ads. Gambling ads is not ideal for underage and I'm hoping that these ads are being regulated enough so that the user of every platform with age of below 18 will not be exposed to gambling.
This is how it works, the moment you search for something it will come to your account even if you are not looking for that anymore. Try to search a watch on your social account, and every sponsored post will be shared to your profile so you will get attracted on that, and this can also the system of the ads. There’s an option in Youtube to limit the post to minors so most probably they will not receive any gambling ads not unless that user fake his age in Youtube so he will continue to watch many videos legally.

I do think that this is how cookies work. Technology has a certain way of knowing your previous searches to match your current taste and suggestions. This is also the reason on why once you search something on Google, lots of ads on Facebook would be shown which is relevant to what you searched for.

For example, I remember looking for a bag and checking the design of it on Google. After searching, I went to Facebook and suddenly, lots of ads selling the exact bag on what I searched for, popping-out as an advertisement on Faceobok.

The same concept applies to Youtube as well that once you search for gambling-related items, lots of those ads would suddenly pop out out of nowhere and it really bothers me to the point that they can do this.

That's odd because I cannot remember seeing gambling odds on Youtube. Most of the time my television is turned on and mostly on Youtube. Not a single betting advertisement for nearly 2 years.

On my computer I use Brave as my browser so there are no advertisements. Sometimes I still use Chrome for Youtube but still I cannot remember seeing any gambling advertisements.

Usually it is based on the algorithm and your location. I used Brave and since it automatically blocked advertisements on Youtube I cannot find one. But I do remember seeing gambling advertisements on Facebook.

You have two choice use Brave or pay to have an ad-free experience, and expect casinos to spend thousands of dollars from their advertising, the competition is very stiff, and Youtube is one platform where you n find a lot of gamblers who like or have been watching videos about gambling and they are pouring their ads to these users.
Brave works great mobile to block any kinds of ads. If you are a pc user you can still use a chrome. Just install ad blocker plus (like I did) and you will now have a great browsing experience. There is no need to pay for youtube premium for this. That is only a waste of money and we can be able to use that money in gambling or investing.

Marketing is very important on a business so yeah, a company won't matter spending tons of money only to gain a wider audience. Youtube is popular and all sorts of videos are on this platform already. Gamblers can watch gambling videos here so gambling companies see this as a good platform to run advertisements.
An ad blocker will only block the ads that are displayed on a webpage and it cannot do anything about the ads that are shown in a video like they do on YouTube. You can filter out YouTube ads with an ad blocker nor you can do that with Brave, the only solution is to buy YouTube Premium if you don't want to see any ads and have an ad-free experience.

When we talk about business, it is also what YouTube or Google is doing with these ads, it is their business, they charge other businesses to run their business and we are the target audience of those businesses paying Google or YouTube to show us these ads.

Not just in YouTube alone mate because you can also see these kinds of ads across any known social media platform that is sponsored by a specific gambling platform. I can notice its surge as it's been frequently shown while I'm scrolling, and it has been advertised by almost all known influencers in my country which gave the platform more clients every single day because of the video that looks really too good to be true.
^Every platform has its own algorithm, it is possible that you may have inadvertently triggered a higher frequency of gambling ads by watching videos related to streamer's gambling. Since YouTube's algorithms take into account your viewing history and preferences, it is not uncommon to see an increase in ads related to content you have previously engaged with.
However, if you find the frequency of gambling ads on YouTube to be excessive or bothersome, you can consider adjusting your ad preferences. YouTube provides options for personalized ad settings, where you can provide feedback on ads you find irrelevant or repetitive. This feedback helps the platform refine its ad targeting algorithms and improve the overall ad experience for users.
