You have two choice use Brave or pay to have an ad-free experience, and expect casinos to spend thousands of dollars from their advertising, the competition is very stiff, and Youtube is one platform where you n find a lot of gamblers who like or have been watching videos about gambling and they are pouring their ads to these users.
Brave works great mobile to block any kinds of ads. If you are a pc user you can still use a chrome. Just install ad blocker plus (like I did) and you will now have a great browsing experience. There is no need to pay for youtube premium for this. That is only a waste of money and we can be able to use that money in gambling or investing.

Marketing is very important on a business so yeah, a company won't matter spending tons of money only to gain a wider audience. Youtube is popular and all sorts of videos are on this platform already. Gamblers can watch gambling videos here so gambling companies see this as a good platform to run advertisements.

I'm asking out of curiosity, are you guys experiencing a surge of gambling ads on youtube videos lately? this past week I've experienced an increased encounter of gambling ads on videos I watch on youtube. it's not that it bothers me, I am just surprised because I don't remember getting this many gambling ads on youtube videos in the past, but this past week, I usually get a gambling ad from 2-3 out of 5 videos I watch(it's just an estimation because of how often I get the ads). I don't know if it is because I recently watched several videos of streamers gambling or it's just a coincidence, I've watched streamers gambling videos in the past but I have never gotten this many gambling ads.
It's good that you are curious especially when what was not happening started happening suddenly, it's part of security measures as far as I'm concerned. But for this, the effect is minimal because it's in Google service (Youtube), they are using your browsing records on Chrome and streaming records on Youtube to furnish you with ads. And it's obvious in your own case that you gamble well, search gambling-related topics or stream about it. This will surely cause them to tag you more in this regard.

Another thing is that more gambling companies might have paid Youbte for adverts recently, which they won't deny, so they have to fulfil the obligation by showing interested viewers more gambling ads.

I saw gambling ads on Youtube but didn't think it was a spike for gambling ads because, as far as I saw, there weren't too many gambling ads but I don't know I didn't pay much attention to them either. And that doesn't surprise me because I think it's normal, but they, the influencers, have to pay attention to how Youtube responds to the gambling ads they are promoting. You can also use filtering to see what ads you want to see so that the many gambling ads don't bother you later.
actually what I am afraid on what I see? is that some of those site advertising is from scam sites that we have accusations here in forum.

Wondering what is the main objective here and how come that they can come out with this .
We don't need to be afraid of that because we already have knowledge about those scam casinos so if we see the advertisements on Youtube or elsewhere, we can pass them easily and will never be tempted. And even though some new casinos will follow by placing advertisements on Youtube or other places, that also won't make us interested in trying to get bonuses or whatever they offer because we have to be careful in choosing the casino.

I don't know if it is because I recently watched several videos of streamers gambling or it's just a coincidence, I've watched streamers gambling videos in the past but I have never gotten this many gambling ads.

I believed the advertisement shown per user is based on their activity, in most cases. Maybe you ended up in some specific category.

I have never ever landed yet in a gambling-related advertisement on Youtube, local or foreign, crypto or fiat, even though I'm browsing the platform every day. Mostly, general advertisements are what I'm encountering e.g products brands, commercials, infographics, etc. that are based, of course, here in our country, etc. Sometimes games related advertisements as I'm always lurking at some game streamers (not gambling-related).

Maybe you triggered Youtube's algorithm based on your recent activity that's why it shows advertisements that might be relevant to it. That's how reaching the target audience goes in marketing. I'm sure that most users will not just experience that surge of the same advertisement without any reason.

I don't know if it is because I recently watched several videos of streamers gambling or it's just a coincidence, I've watched streamers gambling videos in the past but I have never gotten this many gambling ads.

And yeah this is the reason why you see ads because you consumed contents related to the ads and it's called targetted marketing but in simple words this shows how much Google is spying their users.

To turn off the customised ads just do this in your YouTube account Settings=> Privacy => Google ads settings => Turn off (customised ads)

Hope it helps. Kiss

Maybe you have an interest in gambling. I believe there is an AI that can monitor the pages you browse based on your interests. Personally, I never experience any advertisements while accessing YouTube because I'm using the Brave browser. So, I suggest you do the same if you don't want to be bothered by ads.

I also noticed this months ago , I thought this is normal because I have been checking some sites in google (but never in Youtube) but now ? indeed that I am gathering many ads time to time , that I stopped watching because of irritation .

I also try checking net about this but the answer is not enough for me to gather.

I have also realized this. It's not only on YouTube but when I read various articles or visit some sites, I get a lot of ads from gambling sites. The reason is that the gambling industry is improving day by day due to its expansion various ads are shown in online. Gambling company owners are now arranging to display more advertisements on online based platforms. In addition, the gambling industry has become increasingly competitive, with various streamers trying to advertise their sites by paying large amount of money.

With more adnetworks open to crypto and gambling adverts, do you guys think that advertising in the forum will just be casino's option soon?

It had me thinking that maybe one day our source of beer money may just be over if they can reach out more especially if google allows it already.

The increase in the Ads sponsored by gambling sites is a result of a surge in the cryptocurrency gambling industry and this could be seen in the way the new casinos are being launched and introduced into the market, casino business has witnessed a wide range increase in adoption since the covid luck down, and a lot of them are spending good money in advertisements.

So, youtube is one of the popular social media where casinos promote their companies in the form of Ads which interrupt streamers' videos just to promote their own business.
You could argue that. I've seen a lot of industries shift to virtual anyway, so you could say that these gambling sites/casinos are banking on what they got in order to profit. OR...

OP is seeing a lot of gambling ads because of targeted advertisements. Google has this thing wherein it learns from what you search on google, or other google apps like YouTube in this case. They then derive information from this data, and from there provide the user with adverts that fall in that category. Let's take OP's case for example. He, (evidently) is a gambler, and he might've made a couple of google searches in the past few days/weeks that is related to gambling, maybe even watched a couple streamers on YouTube on the side. This is fetched by Google, and from there, had given him advertisements that are in line with what he's been looking for these past few days. If he tries to change his preferences by searching for other things tomorrow or the next day, he'd find ads and recommended videos for him change as well. That's how the algorithm works.

YouTube algorithm works on your choice of video. If you are watching gambling or betting content its algorithm would bombard you with more such content. Depending on your behaviour it will start showing advertisement relevant to your viewing habit.

You can manage what kind of advertising you want while using any Google service. You can read this [https://support.google.com/youtube/answer/7403255?hl=en]article[/url] if you want to reset the advertisement.
This is what I discussed earlier also that the incident could have been from the behavior of the user or one of his family using the same IP from the wifi internet at home accessing the casino or viewing casino videos on YouTube, but I can't give OP how to make arrangements about the ad and forgot how set it up, but for social media, simply delete Likes and Comments on the casino's social media account so that ads will no longer appear on social media.

I am often flooded with gambling advertisements because my younger sibling has accessed gambling sites and it happens that he uses the same internet at home, it turns out that it has an effect like an algorithm that reads activities in my house, what I search for and accesses it, it will also appear on my younger sibling's social media.

Your Youtube account's advertisements are greatly influenced by the search and engagement history of your family and other users with the same IP address. The gadget owned by my niece also supports this. We share the same IP address at home, and when I tried using my niece's tablet, I noticed a few gambling advertisements on her Youtube account.
I attempted to fix everything so that she wouldn't be intrigued by those advertisements despite her minor age because this alarms me. Nowadays, we can't really avoid gambling advertisements because they are nearly always present on most social media platforms, particularly now that many influencers are endorsing various sites. We must steer clear of and ignore them.

These ads pop up in response to what you've been looking for on Google in the past few weeks. Something something about Google fetching your ad data and preferences which makes these gambling ads pop up, cause well, I reckon in the past few days you've been searching a lot of Gambling stuff. I had this in the past too, when I was looking for shoes, laptops, new phones, and all that. It's just the way the whole internet works now I guess. Of course you can solve this by using ad blockers, as well as disabling your ad preferences which will bring you back to seeing regular randomized ads.

Reason why it's not happening in the past but has happened a little more often nowadays is because they doubled down in this feature, and YouTube also cracked down on ad blockers which may mean that they also made sure that these ad preference features are streamlined, yielding more targeted ads than usual.

The algorithm of every social media platform is the same. They target their user based on behaviour. With behaviour they provide the company with data for advertising. The company uses that data and then starts bombarding the innocent user with advertisement. This is known fact! Why create a topic for such a thing.

If I'm not mistaken, ads which appear on your browser are the ones you often view or something related into such as things you often watch, also with content creators you are watching. But I have no strong basis on this one, just what I have observed 'coz such things only appeared the moment I engaged in gambling activities wherein many gambling sites are sliding to the ads.
It seems that the ads that appear too often are caused by broadcast channels that are often watched because things like this are not only found on YouTube but also on Facebook because I have watched slot game broadcasts several times by several streamers and after that there have been lots of advertisements and videos streaming that appears on the homepage or on the streaming video page on Facebook.
I don't know why this can happen, but it seems that some social media have a way of working like this to bring up advertisements which match the history of the videos we see.
But for YouTube, I've never experienced anything like this because I haven't even watched streaming gambling on YouTube in its entirety.

I think it's a combination of few factors.

If you're watch a gambling streamer but it's a local streamer in your country and you're search it using your own language, it will depends if there's someone in your country paying Youtube to add his gambling ads. If there's a gambling ads and it's targeted only for your country, even you're watch gambling, you shouldn't see a gambling ads.

But if you're using English language or watch a global streamer, you will see a gambling ads.
I think this won't be a strong basis as well especially with regards to the language that you have mentioned. With regards to streamers gambling ads is not something which would appear constantly, that depends I guess with the content a streamer is making as well as his/her sponsors.

I have started disliking YouTube because they have choose to increase the rate at which we see ads on there platform. I don't know whether the numbers of there customers had increased so far but I think I have started seeing increase ads whether I am using the platform. This is even more annoying when I use my TV to access the platform. Sometimes it keep showing ads every 2 minutes of using the platform which is very discouraging. How I wish there is available platform like YouTube that we could use and get what we want like the kind of videos we are looking.

I don't understand such judgments. Advertising is one of the most common ways of monetization. You have been provided with a service for viewing a wide variety of content, in my opinion the best. You have the choice to pay a small amount for disabling ads, or watch content for free, but with ads. But you don't like that either. Don't you think it's strange?

In order not to watch ads based on your interests, you can disable it in the advanced settings. Thus, advertising becomes more broadly focused, and therefore less annoying.

Its how YouTube works  I think. They show you ads based on your recent activity. All google products are like that. When you accept cookies, ads related to the site you accepted the cookies on are what you will see.
So probably you've been visiting a lot of gambling sites, watching gambling related videos on YouTube, or just visiting sports sites.
There is also the fact that there is an increased level of marketing from gambling sites. They spend a lot of resources in marketing because the competition just keeps increasing and they need to reach more audience.
