I dont notice this as I am using adblocker on my PC
There are different types of ads.

there are the ones that are monetised by Google. But can add blockers on your phone or computer block that type of ads. I do not think so. They are not add when browser but when watching YouTube videos.

Another one is the ones that some YouTube content creators included into their videos, no ad blocker can edit a video or fast forward the part of the video that contains the ad.

I'm asking out of curiosity, are you guys experiencing a surge of gambling ads on youtube videos lately? this past week I've experienced an increased encounter of gambling ads on videos I watch on youtube. it's not that it bothers me, I am just surprised because I don't remember getting this many gambling ads on youtube videos in the past, but this past week, I usually get a gambling ad from 2-3 out of 5 videos I watch(it's just an estimation because of how often I get the ads). I don't know if it is because I recently watched several videos of streamers gambling or it's just a coincidence, I've watched streamers gambling videos in the past but I have never gotten this many gambling ads.
The last part of your sentence, that's because of that. Advertisements on Youtube have some kind of a system for your most-watched clips. In my case, I mostly see advertisements that have something to do with food and online shopping because that is what I mostly watch. Then, some about sports drinks and foods again.  Grin I think it's a combination of watching sports a lot of times and then food vloggers.

In your case, you must be watching a lot of gambling streamers so get used to watching more ads that have something to do with betting. Casino platforms, online gambling sites, and maybe even resorts with casinos in them.
If you want to decrease this, maybe you could check your watched history or don't subscribe or follow those who have something to do with betting. I have not tried that yet though. Maybe it will work.

I can't do without watching Youtube videos everyday, I am a crypto trader and also a long term investor, not only with Bitcoin but other coins too, watching Youtube Videos is one of the ways that I use to stay updated, the fact is I don't normally come across gambling ads on the platform like you used to, yours is like time to time and mine is once in a while, maybe it's because I am always on my mobile phone more than my PC? Or ads display has something to do with your search history...

Are you normally into gambling search using search engine? If yes that might be the reason there.

I dont notice this as I am using adblocker on my PC but on our TV I haven't seen this ad, only those local commercials that we are getting since that account that was logged in to our TV is for kids so I think this is the case but that is a problem if it will appear in underage like for the kids. Still, for now, I haven't noticed it, what is better is to block the ads on Youtube or buy a premium one if you are bothered by it, as I am also time to time subscribing to it as I feel annoyed sometimes with the ads in YT that are not good for the child.

I always watch gambling streams like big wins and slot machines I want to see that some people have made it big in private mode or incognito mode and as such Youtube does not provide me such ads, only ads on things I use to watch in non private windows which is saved in my history. So I am assuming that the people who get gambling ads most likely are watching a lot of gambling related content in Youtube as Youtube usually show us in ads the content of what we watch most of the time.I don't see any increased activity in gambling ads.

I didn't experience it or maybe because I wasn't aware of it, usually more gambling ads appear when accessing a blog instead of YouTube, and maybe because of that it depends on what you watch, it seems because many gambling sites are blocked by my ISP so that too being the influence why I don't often see gambling adverts pop up.
When accessing a social media application that provides features to earn income, gambling advertisements actually appear very much and that is with a tagline that will be able to deceive many people who do not understand the many types of gambling because advertisements are often displayed as a way to increase money even though it is the opposite because gambling is not an activity to earn income unfortunately it appears uncontrolled until recently.

From influencers and vloggers who somehow personally try to recommend such casinos. I even saw 1xbet being flashed on their videos. Yes so many of them advertised on youtube videos but not actually using the Google ads.

Quite alarming that casinos are doing this even to channels that are not really related to cryptocurrency. They are reaching out to those inexperienced users in crypto and these casinos could potentially scam.

Recession made youtube desperate. You know there are only a few recession-proof industries in the world. Gambling, sex industry, fast food… Since they know gamblers don’t really care if there is a recession or not, they are the best customers for their ads. If this keeps going, soon the whole world will become a one big online casino.  Everybody who lost their job during this recession will become a degenerate gambler.

Gambling has been a lucrative business for influencers and comedian, since they see it as an additional side hustle on their side. Gambling ads on YouTube is a norm in my country, every video you watch an ad on gambling will be done. And nowadays, teenagers loves watching YouTube videos, this ad will easy influence those that are thinking of going into gamble easily. I see that casinos are using so many major strategy to advertise their platform in order for them to get new customers because they have seen that people can easily gamble online without a second thought. Casinos have increased the rate of gamblers due their various method of ads they introduced.

You're seeing this kind of ad because it's your preference if you're a gamer and actively searching for gaming on Youtube, the algorithm will catch it and will show you ads about gaming, this is how Google and Facebook, and other social media platforms monetize their platforms, their ads are targetted to the right audience, it's not that there are many ads from gambling sites it's just that there are many gamblers using Youtube platform and you could be one of it.

On Facebook, I can stop seeing this kind of ad but on Youtube, I just use Brave to stop those ads from showing.

You can opt to buy youtube premium for less than $20 per month if the ads bother you. You can also clear your browser history and cache more often and likely see less of these ads.

It's probably after you've browsed or watched some gambling-related contents. It's an algo thing like what others have said.

[...]
And if you don't want any form of gambling ads or any ads, you can use YouTube Vanced.
You pay subscription for this right?

Try installing uBlock Origin [ https://github.com/gorhill/uBlock#ublock-origin ] and see if that helps you watch youtube videos without ads. It's not exactly an "ad blocker" but I haven't seen yt ads since I installed it on my web browser.
I haven't made a payment in months, I have no idea what my friend is doing and I'm not paying at all.
and there may be very few interruptions in the network, and even then they are infrequent and occur only a few times a month. And when it did, all I did was switch it to regular YouTube, and after that it worked fine again.

Indeed, advertisements in any form are very annoying when I watch Youtube, let alone watching for a long duration because there will be advertisements that appear many times, and actually not all advertisements are in the form of gambling advertisements. But of course there are gambling ads, and I don't care for any ads when I go on YouTube because it's already a risk and I think everyone ignores it too and skips it.

And if you don't want any form of gambling ads or any ads, you can use YouTube Vanced. I also use it and specifically for my child if they want to watch YouTube comfortably because there are no annoying ads and I also don't want my child to see gambling advertisements and also always under my supervision while watching YouTube.

I actually don't use YouTube that frequently, I think I usually make us of YouTube only when I have some mobile internet data exclusively for YouTube, or maybe when I have a special video I have to watch, so this can really explain the reason why I possibly don't get that too many ads like you, but then, this does not mean I don't see gambling ads on other places like etherscan, bscscan, poocoin, dextools, Facebook and so many other places, gambling casino ads are simply every where, so nothing really to be surprised or worry about.

I use an adblocker on both PC and mobile, so Youtube ads are the least of my problems, but when I head to the other platforms, I always get that same gambling ad with a catchy tune. There'd be a few times that i'd get an ad on Youtube for using the in-app browser, but I can recall all of them aren't related to gambling. That just shows the current state of online casinos, some are willing to promote their site aggressively, and there was a thread about it recently.

Nope, cause I use adblocker Wink. I don't think I've ever had them on my phone though. Granted that I've never really accessed casinos in my phone.

Afaik though ads should be a representative of the stuff you watch in YouTube itself, I mostly watch gacha videos way back when I wasn't using adblocker, so most of my ads were about those. If you regularly use adblocker though and would sometimes not use them e.g. on a different pc, then afaik it should be general ads catered to your country.

I can confirm this and I was wondering whether it is because I am using Stake.com for instance. But I have been using gambling sites for a while now and the number of gambling ads shown to me was never as high as it is now.

Do you receive ads from casinos you know or are those casinos unknown to you in some cases? I don't know many of the casinos that I receive ads from.

It is also surprising because I thought that at some point Youtube decided to cut down or even shut down completely any gambling related ads or am I wrong?

Gambling advertisements that appear on your YouTube are due to your activities watching YouTube streamers gambling at first. In addition, it is usually also related to the search you are looking for. This is all because of Cookies. When you search for something on the internet, the browser you use will store information in cookies. This includes when you access certain sites on Google such as YouTube and other social media. So, cookies will record your activity and become a gateway for content to appear to advertisements that are very relevant to what the previous user was doing.
But you also need to be careful with these advertisements, because many of the scammers create fake advertisements that aim to trap you.

It is not only that, many take advantage of Twitch streamers moving to Youtube for their gambling streams.
Yes I noticed that trends too, youtube influences and video games live stream have also become one of the major ways casinos now make promotions and as a matter of speculation many believe that, video streamers are fake and don't play real games.

The fixing is in collaboration with the casino just to get access to the playemindsmind and deceiving intattemptingpt to play on the promoted casino.
