Hi,

It looks as if the "whale" is already sold out...I don't know if the sales
really opened at 12 today, but when i checked at 12 past twenty (after
my duty), it was already sold out...ouch...

There’s so many different types of crypto stamps these days, I see them a good bit when hunting around online randomly, has anyone made any sort of list or album with all of the different discovered crypto /blockchain stamps out there? I haven’t kept up with this thread, are there just a bunch spread out throughout this thread? I’m just curious if I’m ever coming across anything new. I should start to share them when I come across them.

don't know how (if possible) to switch to English, but there seems to be a Dutch CS:   https://www.postnl.nl/versturen/postzegels/postzegels-verzamelen/nl-crypto-stamp/

Thanks for sharing! I used chrome translate feature to convert to English

interesting news @haloxon. it seems to be a kind of joint issue between the Austrian and Dutch post offices (in practice stamps will be printed and make available for postage in both Countries). I am curious to see how many pieces will be printed this time

I got this in my email today:

https://news.post.at/presse/de/post/id/1744484/NIEDERLANDE%20UND%20%C3%96STERREICH%3A%20WELTWEIT%20ERSTE%20LIZENZNEHMERIN%20DER%20CRYPTO%20STAMP

Very interesting! Smiley

The Stone the masons rejected was the cornerstone.
Does anyone know about any upcoming new crypto stamps? Market seems to have cooled down a bit.

for those who, like me, are a "classic" philatelic collector, the crypto stamps have been a real breath of fresh air, thanks to the short tirage and the diffusion even among people who have never collected stamps. the positive aspect ... is that these productions have not become cheap with huge runs and non-stop releases. the fact that there has been a stop is a positive sign, the market is able to absorb the unsold items without having to further saturate the demand... By the way, Austria postal service probably Will launch another edition since they have See massive soldi outs of their previous editions and a lot of interest by collectors

Agree...classic inverted center stamp collector here....and of course crypto as well...these stamps I forsaw many years ago and thus made my own as well. But yeah, I am a collector of these gove issued ones as well. Just added the UAE to my collection and looking forward too seeing some new innovations as well. I am still waiting to see some country do a BTC one. Roll Eyes...Now that would be something!

Bitcoin needs you!

imo such cooling down period was long overdue. there were too many shitty CS overstocking the small market in the recent past.

Yep , got to agree. The market is pretty saturated and there’s not really any new innovative ideas about . I’ve got to say personally I’ve lost a bit of interest.

If it can help, they have sent DHL details/tracking code directly with sms. They requested personal details for VAT ... but no VAT amount declared... Has anyone from EU already payed VAT related "Golden

A couple of updates, hope ti can help other collectors.
- Emirates Postage have sent DHL tracking code both via sms and also via email.
- According DHL (and I guess Italian/EU Law) I have to pay VAT for importation since this item (Golden Jubilee) has been classified as "piece of art". Previous shipment, with other stamps was classified as NFT... with standard VAT Applied (50 euro).

Even in this case the amount should be 50 euro, but in this case they have requested a signed declaration Sad and there is the risk they will require 100 euro for each stamp Sad

Good news since DHL accepted my declaration regarding the type of items (VAT to be payed 50 euro).
"Stamps for collectors" ... Made simple. I don't know if you can use the same diciture for your shipping or this is Just available here in Italy.
But DHL at least for my shipping added extra 18 euro as fees for the service they have provided Grin ...
Hope to receive It soon... Golden jubilee is a nice item but the service provided was not the best at all with such delays and requests of extra fees Sad

received mail today that golden stamp order is being processed.
minutes later received message with tracking info.
seconds later received message to pay duty/import vat.

for Austria, Europe, I can confirm:
EUR 99.18 ... duty and import vat (20% of purchase price)
EUR 19.- ... DHL

was declared as "non-fungible token".
stamp announced to arrive early next week.

Damn!  Glad to hear you are getting the stamps but shaking my head on the way they hit you with the VATs
