Anyone know what ‘ Cancelled ‘ means as opposed to ‘regular’ ? TIA

Are you referring to CTO?

Cancelled To Order

A cancelled to order (also called and abbreviated CTO) postage stamp is a stamp the issuing postal service has cancelled (marked as used), but has not traveled through the post, but instead get handed back to a stamp collector or dealer.

Why would someone want this done to their stamp instead of getting it new?

Thanks in advance!

I did it just to have two that were not the same lol - I saw people do them with the CS2 stamps as well.

Think the stamps are used as a wallet or for crypto exchange at the Croatian Post Office - or I could be very wrong  Smiley My Croatian is non- existent  Smiley

Sent you a PM before reading trough this thread. I don't see a connection between the stamps and the service our post provides. It is simple crypo-fiat exchange in collaboration with our local online crypto exchange.

I guess the stamps are used as a sort of advertisement to give people notice that we have that sort of service in Croatia. I used the service once and it worked like any other exchange, did not even know there were stamps.

Quick update from Trofo -re: the Croatian stamps -  had a PM from him last night

Quote -“ I checked a bit more but it seems my first impression was correct. Crypto stamp has just been used as a way to bring traffic to exchange page.”

Personally I still like the design and I’ll be getting a few anyway ! 8 days to go  Wink

though it does not really give all that much in details.
Yep - not much there !
Trying to figure out if these stamps are acting as wallets ? Or just link off to the Post Office exchange site ? Or in fact something entirely different  Smiley

The Austrian Post worked out a new "Golden-Unicorn"-Raffle in which 50 golden unicorns will be given to the lucky winners. It will run until the 21th of September.

Source: https://crypto.post.at/files/Koordinaten.pdf

Since you need to travel around Austria to participate in the QR-Code hunt, some of the QR-Codes were shared on the German CS2 Telegram group, but we haven't found all of the codes yet (some people were sharing wrong numbers etc...).

If you're interested in participating just check the posted photos of the QR-Codes in German CS2 Telegram-Group or the German Bitcointalk thread (five codes were posted so far).

100 golden unicorns will be available for this raffle with 50 coordinates / post branches.  Wink

well to clarify - at first I was trying to just redeem them but could not get that figured out and gave up. Then I got the email that they would be randomly adding golden unicorns to collections so I tried to set that up - on the first one it told me it was nearly $15 to add to the collection - that's twice the price of the actual stamp so made no sense. So, I stopped at that point.

edit: I did follow the steps to add metamask and then I am stuck because my ethereum is in MEW and I cant for the life of me figure out how to link it to metamask.

I know it is a slim chance, but without the collection I am already out of the running, rather be in it. Just trying to confirm if the cost is incurred for each stamp or a one time thing.

Try and find in MEW where you can pull your private key or your seed phrase, then import to metamask on firefox (chrome is kinda weird, I use firefox just for nfts/opensea etc).

in mew it gives me a 24 word pass phrase - metamask allows me to import using a 12 word

that is as far as I got.

I think mew is a custodial wallet so no access to private keys as far as I know.

I did  try to redeem 1 nft - the record - it just shows in mew as an "unknown"

edit: I found if i go to https://crypto.post.at/wallet/ and enter the eth address associated to the stamp - it tells me if the golden unicorn "is not found here" but as they do random giveaways of the unicorn it means I would have to keep checking them if they are not in a collection - or am I still screwing it up?
