D3 will be released at the same time as the first batch of A5 and with the price of 1.6k. Does it still make sense for 10k price of A5?

I think you answered it yourself. Why pay 10k when antminers are 3.2k for similar hashrate before OC. Also, I'm hoping Innosilicon follows through with their numbers, but for some reason in the back of my head I remember they always show a very high hast rate which they never seem to get close to. Maybe this time is different, but I can't believe people paid 10k for that...

1st batch of D3 will release around a month before A5. this is the 2nd batch that was released today for 1.6k.

You can buy this preorder at https://www.gigawatt.sg/shop/dash-miners/innosilicon-a5-dashmaster-psu-batch-1/ and lock in hosting at 3.3c kwh with onsite repairs. You have to be a token holder in the ICO /ugese]http://[Suspicious link removed]/ugese  you could buy just one token and then rent tokens or pay retail hosting otherwise you should buy enough tokens to power the A5.
You can check out their instagram see build out going fast and on time https://www.instagram.com/gigawatt_mining/

IF you don't know Giga Watt check search CEO name on coindesk https://www.coindesk.com/?s=dave+carlson

No offense to innosilicon but I felt safer preordering from Giga Watt, if there are problems I feel like I'll get a refund easier and if it's a piece of shit constantly having problems then I'll have pros helping keep it running. I trust innosilicon not to run off with my money, but I've been burned by pre orders before. Delays, specs different than specified, and yes those that just never deliver. So I trust Giga Watt, only way I was gonna order one of these and sick of Bitmain dominating mining scene.

A5 still awailable?

stop shilling for Gigawatt, you posted the same stuff on every theread we get it.   Its the same old cloud mining BS,  there are other forums for that , me I personally will NEVER cloud mine again

IDGAF what new face they put up on it , monkey see monkey do, If i cannot physically visit the location where my hardware is hosted, I'm good.

This new spin on cloud mining will only benefit the the ICO holders, not miners  , no more shilling pls

A5's seem to be sold out , cloud mining companies and their minions bought them all up, I bet they bough out the L3+, D3s too , stop supporting cloud miners dummy's, buy you own gear and host with a reputable local company if you must

/sigh

But you can...you can go to the facility every other Friday when they have open house.

FYI, this is not about cloudmining, but about purchasing the hardware yourself and putting it at their facilities at reduced power cost. Yes, you can visit their site and look at the equipment, they have open days which you can attend. So

--> Yes, this is exactly what you can do via Gigawatt. Why being so agressive?

The A5 are still available; as we speak there are still 158 in stock.  However, this is an WTT exclusive offer, which means you should buy enough WTT tokens available to host such a miner (1375), sign up at their miner shop with the same email and subsequently get verified as a WTT token holder. Only then you will be able to see and purchase the A5. Same held for the D3, but those are out of stock. So if you are not verified as WTT token holder and are not logged in, you will NOT be able to see the stock of A5.

Thanks for the quick reply! I guess I will do some research and see how hard it is to become a token holder. So they don't have any of the A5's in stock through right? These don't ship out until October? Do you know if that is right? Sorry I'm a little new to this but I'm learning as much as fast as i can.

I also have a guy wanting to sell me 3 Antminer D3's for 18k lol, its crazy because I'm sure he purchased them for 2600 a piece. I'm not going to pay that much but I'm just wondering (since i'm looking at a few of the D3's) should I wait until the next batch of D3's through bitmain and try to get a hold of a couple or should I just buy one of the marked up ones? I know they don't ship out until september.

I also have a guy wanting to sell me 2- L3+'s for 7000 lol bad idea or nah? I'm not looking for any trouble so please just understand if I have any stupid questions it is due to my ignorance of this industry so far.

Can anyone order them off of Gigawatt? I'm definitely wanting one especially since they seem like you could make some good money off of them. I tried going to their website but the one I found said "Out of stock" and that you had to be a WTT holder or something like that. I have also tried finding them on skype but have not had any luck just yet lol  Tongue

I believe you have to be a WTT tokenholder to purchase mining equipment from them. I received an email a couple weeks ago stating this. They seem to be very responsive via the normal channels.

Is anyone going to do a bulk order? Anyone have any suggestions on how I could get ahold of Innosilicon? I realize there are many variables when it comes to that I was just wondering. I figured they should at least be profitable for 6 months right? I mean I can spend 13k on many things but right now I'm thinking this is my best bet.

No one knows if it will be worth it.  Except maybe the mining manufacturers because they know production volume which affects difficulty.  Even then, no one knows where the price will be.

This is such a crazy..crazy time...and volatile.

Giga-watt has 177 left FYI.

Is it too late to get an A5? I would like to purchase one as well. Is it worth it? How long until you think it will be obsolete?

Yes, it is too late to purchase directly from Innosilicon at this time. They may release additional units.

Is it worth it? Only you can answer that question. Look at the opportunity cost. What's the next best alternative? What else could you do with the $10k "investment" you would make with the A5.

It will be obsolete when it no longer generates a profit. I'm not trying to be a jerk but no one knows the answer to that question. There are too many variables to draw a justifiable conclusion.

The miner is now sold out . Even if the price is too steep some have invested their money on this machine. I wonder how efficient the machine is. I will keep an eye on this thread.
