DOGE is just a meme coin and hype because of Elon Musk, in my opinion it's better for you to invest in Ethereum than DOGE, because it's safer and definitely gives you profit, so you don't need to hesitate or be afraid to invest in Ethereum and of course the project from Ethereum is very good and popular.
Actually, Dogecoin is good as a memecoin, it's just being romanticized by Elon and many traders and scalpers that like to have quick profits.
When it was not yet that popular because of Elon, it's living good and the community really likes it.
We have preferences in investing in the market, I like ETH and I'll agree to you but you'll see people that will dislike that suggestion of yours because they have doge and it's possible that they've bought it while it's on its peak price.

I am not surprised, I am a big bag holder of altcoins and I believe that not all of them will succeed in this bear market, I never plan or hope for them to all succeed, but one or two good projects will make up for the projects that failed, it's not wise to ignore diversification when going for altcoins, they are too risky.

That's a good way to invest in altcoins, although majority of the altcoins moves in similar patterns still you don't have to put all your eggs in one basket. People who did that with some of the dead project last year have lost it all.

But assuming they had some investment in other projects, they would had still had some hopes of regaining their loses and made profits since they have coins that has potential to pump in the coming bull market next year.

Also altcoins have different trends and they pump in different times so investing in different coins would be the best way to invest in altcoins. The profits would be huge if all succeeded but in situations of lost, you don't lose all.

OP is very lucky if holding the coin list until now, I believe you have made a great profit, in 2018 I held a lot of tokens such as Harmony, Ultra, and Abyss, but I was unlucky because I sold all those tokens in early 2020
This is why getting early into projects is the best investment strategy, I like this Ultra project because it's like Gala but there will never be a chance to buy at 0.02$ again, lucky are those that got early into this type of project, I believe that gaming projects in crypto space will gain bigger attention in next bull market.

There are many coins in the market that seem to fulfill a lot of potential in the beginning but after a few days those coins die. And there are also many new coins that have made a good potential in the market and suddenly disappeared. But among them there are some good coins that can earn profits by investing in them. One of the most promising ALT coins is Doge Coin. We have seen a lot of positive information about this coin from time to time. And Elon Musk himself invested heavily in this coin. But seeing that Elon Musk has invested in this coin doesn't mean you will invest in this coin first check about this coin then if you think it will be good for you to invest then you can invest in this coin.

And now many new  There are investors who invest in different dead coins without knowing about any coin and as a result their money goes to waste so before investing you must think carefully before investing.
The example you gave is not the best, a token that showed such a large increase does not look very attractive for investment. For this, projects that showed good growth at the start, but after that went into a long phase of accumulation, may be suitable. Basically, these are new projects that have not yet reached great growth and are probably currently near their ATL.

But if we consider globally the issue of investing in cryptocurrencies, then I choose bitcoin for this. This eliminates for me a lot of the risks associated with investing in altcoins.

This is easier said than done, because we never know when a particular project will become inactive. In the past, I had come across a few projects which suddenly became inactive, after a lot of hype and market activity. It is very difficult to differentiate such projects from the genuine ones. Personally I have invested in a few such projects and lost my money. One example that I could give is that of the TMT (Traxia Membership Token). That project was faring really well.. until one day it suddenly crashed at the market.

True even though they are transparent with everything they have done, but it doesn't mean they will leave their initial intention to either scam you or being a legit project out there. Most of the "active" projects out there have the same chance to get completely dumped in long run based on how they handle the response of the market and community. It's hard to invest in new projects due how they run the same method to scam us.
Investing in new projects is a good planning to make enormous profits in the market, although most of the new projects turned out to be scams. It takes only an experience pro trader to differentiate between legit and scam in the space, the first thing to spot for scam projects are the road maps and it's record history, either to favour the investors or only their selfish interest, trading volume also matters. I'll tell you this for free, top exchanges like binance, kucoin screen out scammed token from their platform inother to safeguard the interest of their users.

Active projects team's can still scam there investors if they want, the risk of losing money is still present, do not rely on a project because they are active, too many altcoins are on the verge of their death beds, all they can do is pretend that everything is fine.

No matter how carefully you choose, investing in ICO is like playing roulette. If your bet is successful, then you will make a profit (if you sell their tokens in time). If you miss, then your money flew into the pipe.

Behind any seemingly good team and project, there can be a dummy.

Of course we have to choose an active altcoin before investing. At least have adequate daily trading volume. Price is not a problem, low prices can still be considered. Another thing to look at before investing is the developer's level of involvement in the project once it's developed, not a project that's just been abandoned.
I agree on that before investing we need to choose the active project with a active team, and active trading in market, many projects are being abandoned after they collect funds from ICO, so it is also important to choose a good and transparent team. Because if the team is not transparent it is very risky maybe the project is scam so we need to be careful.
All these active projects with an active team and trading in the market may one day cease to be active. Therefore, this parameter, as an activity, can't be considered a selection criterion. I will not say that it is completely stupid to invest in an inactive project, because this will already be an indicator that it is dead.

While taking necessary precautions is good before investment especially in a volatile market such as crypto, it is pertinent to still diversify your investment in various active projects rather than one because it is almost impossible to follow up on this many crypto based projects.

Of course everyone who can read and see will invest in an active project, but not a few of the many investors who fail at the stage of selecting the project to invest. There are also investors who lose their assets after investing due to severe panic during a bear market, so they sell at a bad time.
I think even though you have chosen an investment in a good project, if you still have an impatient attitude, and easily panic, you will still experience setbacks in investing

My view While it is important to invest in an active project with ongoing development, it is also important to carefully consider any investment decision before making it due to many factors that must be looked at as well as factors such as market trends, adoption rate and overall project objectives at the moment. decide where to invest.

I invest my btc to buy kaspa coin :
Kaspa is a proof-of-work cryptocurrency which implements the GHOSTDAG protocol. Unlike traditional blockchains, GHOSTDAG does not orphan blocks created in parallel, rather allows them to coexist and orders them in consensus. The Kaspa blockchain is actually a blockDAG. This generalization of Nakamoto consensus allows for secure operation while maintaining very high block rates (currently one block per second, aiming for 10/sec, dreaming of 100/sec) and minuscule confirmation times dominated by internet latency.

Kaspa network is secured by miners through Proof of Work and uses an algo known as k-Heavyhash. Heavyhash was chosen for forward-compatibility with Photonic miners when they become available.

of course everyone wants to choose or invest their money correctly and get profit, an active project will always be more persuasive and interesting than a slow or inactive project, because even according to statistics, active projects have a higher percentage of success
