You can prefer both of them, for me joining in a bounty while investing is good. If your bounty campaign getting successful you can earn more token and you can actually make this as a starting guides to begin an investing system so that you can earn more profits. Since I was newbie my first step is like that bounty while investing.

Actually I prefer investing than joining in any bounty campaigns because you can earn more profits when you make a right investment in cryptocurrency industry . But right now I dont have enough money to start an investment so i joined in a signature campaign. Soon as I received the payment , I will invest it in some good crypto.

I prefer to the bounty than investing specially now there is a lot of ICO was scam, and investing in some ICO is not worth it for now it is hard to find the fake ICO because some of the ICO has a good project then after they successful they run the funds that they collect so it is better to do the bounty you only investment you have is just hard-work and no money involve. For me,i like bounty because this is the way that i can earn ethereum, after that i will try to go investing so that i can get a lot of profit to receive in that time.
I like bounty but often invest, where project investment is very promising. but if you have to choose I will focus on the bounty where bounty does not require a big risk and we can work in bounty comfortably and do not have to lose big.

for beginners like us for me i will choose bounty at first, then i will explore on trading if i'm able to understand how it works
You can do both, if you have money to invest, i will suggest you do, investing is an efficiency way to get coins. But if not doing bounty campaigns it help to get free coin.
for me i prefer running my bounty programs than investing on any coin, if i look and analyze any whitepaper and i like the project the thing which i do is to run the bounty campaign for them instead of buying the coin, i do bounty and get paid with some of those coins which i could have buy with my money.
At bear market, airdrop n bounty will better, i think. But if you want to invest , i think you can choose some good ico to invest like nex, Seele, Switcheo,...
I will choose working for bounty than airdrops. Many bounties have paid me for my work but no airdrops have paid me for signing up and do their simple task.

When starting it's better to put effort in bounties to help build your foundation in cryptocurrencis so when you have lose money or expend it, you will know the ways on how to get it back. And i'm not saying that investing is bad. it's just that when you have excess income you should start your investment but it;s better if you do both bounties and investing at the same time to maximize your earnings.
