Investments needs money before you can do it, not only that it requires resources but you also need experience, not a good thing for newbie. In bounty campaign you need time and effort. Both are good, depending on your capability. If you have money, invest because it will give you more profit than bounty. But for me, why not do both since bounty only needs effort and time. By doing both, you will also know what good coins to invest.

At first, I bought cryptos through ICO's and profited and still do participate but to a limited/potential ICO's only. Now that I've learned how to accumulate cryptos through bounties/airdrop, I'm enjoying it. You can do both. How do you prefer to get crypto? Do you invest or you prefer to join bounty?

What i'm doing right now is I invest and do trading and at the same time join in bounty campaign to have extra income, much better if we have alternatives to earn Bitcoin or other coin, the more coins the more chance to become millionaire in the future.

I do both. I joined in signature campaign and invest in trading, trying my luck in trading. But i am still learning so i just invested a little amount to try my knowledge and apply it at the same time.
i would recommend you to start with bounty, and you can always use your bounty reward for investing in other tokens. it's safer, cause you don't risk the money you have now.
In my opinion, it is better to make your own research and trust your guts.

The best opportunity is to find a privacy-related project with a low total supply (less than 100M), that way the price will be increasing much faster.

I make most of my crypto coins through bounty. I also do small trading but my major source is bounty. Good bounty pays as much as $1000 and still some will reward you with peanut like between $2-9. after all your work.
If you have big amounts of money at your disposal, then participation in the bounty isn't interesting to you. You should invest.
My strategy is the following. As soon as I get first tokens for my bounty participation I hodl part of them and sell another part. ETH I get is used for investments in ICO. So I do both things

I think for the first step we better take bounty because we need experience to invest into this project in altcoin, because it needs a broad need and need a lot of money to invest.
Bounty would be the best choice for beginners and whem you don't have enough money to buy coins Joining in bounty campaigns will be a good start to gain profit without investing money.

It's better to invest if you have a lot of money because if we follow our bounty we will not generate more investment money that is very promising for the future. in appeal with bounty not necessarily our future will be more assured
Choose which is convenient to you. No one can push you onto something Because at the end of the day, it is you money, not theirs. If you have decent amount to invest, then why not, just as long as you do your part in digging up informations needed to know if it is good or not. Bounties are for people who cannot afford to lose money or for people who do not have any to invest with. Both may take you up just as long as you do your part.
The two are undeniably the best first step for newcomers. If you choose wisely which coin you invest with, your investment will sure be doubles in few weeks. There is no need to argue which is best, the thing is, if you have extra money, go invest. If none, go with Bounty or even do both, there is no wrong with that as long as you consider research first because deciding which coin you invest with or what projects you want to promote with. Research is the main key to success.
If you have enough money for investing, you try to invest because you can earn from there. Just make sure that you are investing in the right project or coin. If you don't have enough budget, join bounty campaigns. You will earn there without investing.
I have money and I buy coin of projects that are likely to succeed in the future, I will keep them until the project is successful and I will have the words, you have the knowledge and time but you have no money can participate in bounty
I think the answer for this question should be depend on the financial of each person.
