It is still promising of course but to find a promising one is a problem nowadays. Inspection part is taking a little bit longer so if you have time to find something so you may have profit then
I am a person that gains profit from investing in ICOs but now I'm having second thoughts. I know some ICOs are potential scam so I am really picky to where I put my money.
Anyway, considering with what happened to Ethereum price and with the nearing Aigist 1, do you guys think that it will still be profitable to invest on ICOs mostly on ERC20 tokens and those accepting btc payments?

Scam project make us think more than twice to invest in ico but sometime ico is very profitable.
It can give us more 10x just in short day so i will invest in ico with money that i can afford.
I believe in ico, although I did not invest anything, but I see that they are in demand
It's not time to invest in ICO. How can you make sure you invest if it is safe? It is difficult to choose who is legitimate or scam because we know that we have news on people that many of the ICOs are scams so it's best to first share the projects so we can make sure we earn tokens in every project.
If you find a real gem, you can be very happy about it. So there are still good projects out there. I think you should really do it
As long as the ICO seems promising, and you're 100% sure (harder than it sounds) it's not a scam - go for it. 
Currently BTC is very expensive so anyone who is new to the electronic money market, I think investing in ICO potential projects is the right choice. If you are a talented investor. Get good projects to invest, I think its profit brings you even higher than the BTC .
if myself feel investing in ICO is very promising, because my faithful invest in ICO I will definitely get the profit as I want, therefore I feel investing in ICO is very promising 
if I think ico it is very promising the most important when we follow an ico you have to be patient to hold the token if one day decreased dramatically!
I think yes it still promising but you must smart to choose good ico. Because now many scam ico.

There is many scam projects, and a lot of projects with very small potential and value. But of course investing in the most promising ICO projects is still profitable, because such projects have usually experienced team behind the project which try always to make the token more valuable.
If we can find a token or a project that has good development, we can still invest or participate in the project, because if it has good development then the ICO that will run on the project will grow, from the development for the participants can participate because the project which will be followed can evolve.
yup I invest in loyal coin now and waiting for it to go through exchange to sell it atleast half because I know it will probably dumped.
investing in altcoins is good as the price of ETHEREUM goes all time high and most of the altcoins price also follow but watch out .
If you probably invested in SalPay ICO at .4 USD / token it became 1.4$ in ether delta as it first listed there. if you hit that sure profit after it haha

I think still exist some Ico's with serious project and team members, it worth to make research for ico, I invest to ico personally and I have good profit from them. But of course first u need to make a lot of search about that Ico.
Yes of course I belive its easy to detecte if its scam or not, of course u ll not understand if it is scam or not if u dont do enough research about Ico.
Yes, you have to be very careful with investments. Investors are not insured, even in promoted projects. It is better to invest in already running projects
I agree as scam icos is almost everywhere but it is not really hard to tell if one ico is a scam. All you have to do is to look up their team's profile and their whitepaper. Jump to:
