I recommend a new coin. It's just starting, it's a super bounty. You can buy at a low price.

I believe if the group is solid, the product is one thing I can tell which is clearly not only a concept, then it's really worth seriously considering.

Yes, I think that is is still worth it. I have my eyes on one particular ico of Amor (amorcoin.org) which I think can moor.
Is this a fake tinder, and even on ico? RLLY?  Undecided

Seriously, even if it was still profitable i wouldn't invest at all. Nowadays, scams are so advanced and so elaborated that its very difficult to spot a scam when there is one !
Earlier this year, i invested one bitcoin in the INTcoin ICO ( who remember ?), now the website is down, and we will probably never hear of this coin again...

For me, the lesson is learned, i'll never invest into scammy ICOs again.

Sometimes the gains are just not worth the risk at all.

am an investor but I didn't buy coins from ICOs but I just hold my tokens that I received after Bounty Campaign in the forum. I do believe their existence and support. So, I'm looking forward for the success of all the ICOs I've been joined during their campaign.
And most of them are promising too. If I got lucky, My investments will have a good profit someday.

ICO is profitable if the project team and the project itself is sustainable. When you find a project like that look at the long term profit rather than quick money making from it.

I am a person that gains profit from investing in ICOs but now I'm having second thoughts. I know some ICOs are potential scam so I am really picky to where I put my money.
Anyway, considering with what happened to Ethereum price and with the nearing Aigist 1, do you guys think that it will still be profitable to invest on ICOs mostly on ERC20 tokens and those accepting btc payments?
I am still investing to many ICO. I am still not yet experienced scam when investing in ICO. I always researching to the project before I will make investment. Knowledge about the project is very important for us to know whether the project is promising or not.
It's good that you did not get on scammers, because now there really are a lot of them. What criteria do you use when choosing ICO, if not secret?
Mostly people are know about the team and the whitepaper. but they don't care with community behind it. But all of these indicators were very important to be learned before try to invest in the ico. Ico for the long-term investment and not only to flip your money.
That's an important massage that a lot of people are forgetting it right now.

Ico is still really important,we just nees to take into details thpse indicators to know if it is legit since there are more ICO that failed and tends to be a acam so we just nwes to be careful on it.

investing in ICOs still promising if you look carefully at team, project and roadmap!

another smart strategy is investing once ICO hit exchanges because many people are dumping their coins!
The only problem with that strategy is that is only true for coins that do not have a lot of support, for all the other projects that have huge support the opposite is true, you will see that after a coin like that hits the exchanges it has a tendency to go up in value many times the ico price.

The problem of many people is that when they can't succeed with any projects, they will say most ICOs are scams. The important is that they have to learn how to invest in the right project instead of saying bullshit.

Investing on ICO is still promising especially if that ICO is a success, ICOs token is also good investment for long terms goals, it can make your investment double or even multiple times.
Indeed, rather than joined in the airdrop and investing in ico will be more promising, i've invested on the confide around 10k and this time my investment worth over 10x from my early amount.
that's amazing. A lot of the people are not interested again in the airdrop coin or token. ico still become the best way after invest in the bitcoin.

My answer would be yes of course. But before investing in any ICO projects, do ensure that you look out for the key factors, especially those well equipped with a good strong project team will produce greater success rate in their ICO. Therefore I will usually google search more information about the team, check out all of their social networking accounts to assess on their relevant knowledge and whether they have large network of related connections.  Followed by the presentation of their products in their functional website and not forgetting the white paper should provides a detailed breakdown and clear explanation of the entire project.

If you're expecting to gain from every ICO that is out there, that won't happen. As you said most of the ICO's out there right now are useless, they don't offer anything significant and that's why they are valued eventually to zero. But that's up to you to know before you invest your money in it. You can read the project's whitepaper and talk with the community of even founders about it, so there is no excuse of getting scammed. Of course you can't foresee everything (see what happened with Tezos, who would have thought that), but you can evaluate a project carefully enough to be at least somewhat more sure that it won't scam you of your hard earned money, I guess it's a learning curve and eventually people will understand how it works.
