I can see many comments about the recent situation about the ico, yes, most of the ico are not so promising since the price turned out to be much lower than the ico price, but I think there will be some really promising ico project. Maybe spectiVR is one of them.
Hell, hedge fund it. Cover possible loses due to scams and whatever with strong choices in near guaranteed investments. There are a few ICO's that are from established groups and there is no doubt in my mind that they are there to win and that any failure there is just bad luck. There are others that sounds awesome and I know that 2 out of 5 of them are going to flop after launch. Use the winners to bolster the unknown and you will never fail.
Choosing the best ICO is a bit harder compared before. Since too many ICOs are coming out almost every week. everyone is claiming that they are the first in their claimed idea and so on. First you have to look if they have already come up with something. coz ICOs are way for scammers to just list all their ideas on the whitepaper and end up all are just promises to scam the investors. Look at a working and legit platform. Check all the team members. Some ICO just use random people in their website and some investors are too lazy to check out each one of them. Be wise on spending your hard earned money.
Hard to pick the good ones with so many coming out.
I believe icos time will come to pass, but as long as this is still a green area there is massive potential. Just DYOR. 
ICO on a legitimate project is very promising so the more we support them the more they will be very inspired to work on their plan. It's still a gamble because we trust our money for developers to run their ideas and it's a challenge on how they will market the product to give us a profit.

Don't expect too much from the new upcoming ICOs because people aren't too crazy about throwing their money at it anymore.
On the whole we cannot say that people were no more in a situation to invest into ICO. Lots of unique projects have been getting into existence. It's our responsibility to to find the right one and invest upon the same hoping for a better profiting in the future.

ICO mania is going to be over and here comes the hard fork mania! Eventually, new hard fork won't be that profitable either.
I don't think so, ICOs are more better than Hard Fork because they have their own original concept of their business and I think more investors would like that way. There are a lot of ICOs but only few of them has a potential so it depends on us now how we are going to evaluate such project.You are right there are so many ICOs nowadays some has potential some are just ideas. And unestablished team with great ideas turns into scam projects.. And so fort.

I guess we will know only after a few years if this ICOmania has marked the beginning of a new era or not. I'm rather optimist.
Yes, as long as we are observant to see ICO which has a good roadmap. I am still investing in ICO and the results are quite satisfactory than altcoin trading which continues experience price weakening.

By the way, there are also such considerations about ICOs. It's now became more difficult to earn money here, but still possible. But what happens when venture funds with their huge money come to crypto?
 I suppose that it will become impossible to invest in ICO for us. These funds will invest to promissing projects in early stage and we will have only chance to buy tokens on exchanges only.
