Nothing is wrong with training kids on how to deal with guns. They will all join the army one day so better start when their young. I dont see us putting our kids in suicide vests and lets be honest. Hamas is no army, they are a terrorist group. Huge difference.

I agree....  hopefully there will be less civilian casualties.

Israel have now begun a big ground offensive dismantling Hamas's tunnel network. Personally I would say that it was much needed but obviously because of potential casualties and deaths it was pushed back as far as possible. I guess the constant rockets and discovery of more tunnels just did it for the Israelis.
War is war, and all casualties regardless of which side of the conflict it is are a shame and are saddening. I don't think anyone wants this war to continue. Let's just hope Israel are successful with causing minimal damage to see peace restored.

I am up in arms about the way my country treats refugees from all nations and backgrounds. I think it is disgusting that any nation can and does dehumanize people from other regions of the world merely to serve their own political agenda.

Syria is a terrible tragedy, the world including Isreal should have done more to support a peaceful revolution.
now that we have failed Syria it has gone through many years of sectarian radicalization...

this is a threat not only to liberal countries like mine.. but more so to fundamentalist countries like Isreal.
it is a shame that Isreal cannot see that by escalating tensions with their neighbors all they are doing is creating more soldiers who will fight against them.
