As per my opinion , bitcoin is not really anonymous because if bitcoin is totally an anonymous cryptocurrency then you cant track down its transaction using the public key or the bitcoin address.

BTC trading history is completely open, everyone can through your wallet address in block chain query your wallet cash inflows and outflows, and ultimate origin can be traced back to the BTC upward, that is, from block generated late-development sent to the address. This poses a huge threat to privacy.

not BTC trading history that's completely open because there's no such thing in the blockchain but your history of transaction. All of your transaction will be recorded in the blockchain and can be accessed by public forever, it can't removed. This is why I often call that bitcoin is really transparent just if the wallet owner can be identified.

Bitcoin is not that anonymous, but pseudo-anonymous one at the contemporary time. If you do transactions only your address and how plenty bitcoin you use will be seen in all bitcoin network, however your non-public data such as number, tackle and etc will no longer be seen via others for security privacy.Bitcoin is not anonymous, but, rather, pseudo-anonymous. By now, most Bitcoin veterans know this. Bitcoin is now not truly anonymous by way of default. There are typically motives why bitcoin is every now and then regarded as anonymous: First, unlike bank debts and most other payment systems, Bitcoin addresses are not tied to the identification of users on a protocol level. Second, transactions are now not tied to the identity of customers either.

My questions is not on the technical side, since obviously you can create an address in a very much anonymous way. However, when it comes to spending it or convert it into fiat or even when spending it on a legit shop online you have to leave an identity trace.

I know that with small transactions is fine, under the radar basically, but what happens with significant ammounts?

I am asking this because I intend to become rich in 4 or 5 weeks Grin Grin

In the technical side, Bitcoin is not anonymous, but, rather, pseudo-anonymous. You can easily check a address's activity, transaction. Although your name don't appear on Internet, your address is your BITCOIN name. In some cases, they can know your name or your nickname through Bitcoin address. So Bitcoin is not complete anonymous. For many people, pseudo-anonymous is too enough

Bitcoin is designed to allow users to send and receive payments with adequate levels of privacy as well as other forms of money. However, Bitcoin is not anonymous and can not provide the same level of privacy as cash. The use of Bitcoin requires a wide public listing. There are various mechanisms to protect user privacy, and more are being developed.
There are two type of people in this world; one who are born with silver spoon in their mouths and other who have not much assets from the beginning. First one get everything they wish for without putting effort while the second type has to strive hard in order to make big achievements in their lives. But anyone who works hard gets reward of his efforts. People can change their lives.

Bitcoin can give to you a decent amount of anonymity if you only use it on the Internet and to buy digital goods, but once you want to buy physical goods or you want to exchange it for fiat then that is where you are going to leave a trail, now if you are buying something that is small probably no one will care but if you are buying something big then is likely that authorities will begin to make questions.

There's no way that you will become rich within just 4 or 5 weeks without any huge amount of investment or luck, its true that it was easy to earn profit on cryptocurrency but still it, the profit you will earn will be depending on the amount of capital you have today.
First for individual bitcoin transactions can be said to be anonymous, as well as to spend in online stores, you're afraid your identity is revealed when you want to send that stuff to your house right? you can use a dropper service so your name and identity will not be uncovered and bitcoin will remain anonymous.
btw thats true that the amount of investment will have an effect on how quickly you will get rich

Yes it is true, bitcoin is anonymous, we never know who transacted with bitcoin so this is the main factor of the state for bitcoin banned for fear bitcoin used for illegal transactions such as money laundering, buying drugs and so on.

Can be said that bitcoin is 100% anonymous, we can see the fact that everyone is free to use bitcoin without need of identity, maybe after they exchange to fiat then exchanges who can know the final data from the owner of bitcoin.

There is a lot of posts before you and that is a proof you are not reading the posts.

Bitcoin is not really anonymous, and like as posted above there are other digital currency that is more anonymous than Bitcoin like Monero and ZCash.

It is also stated in the above posts that owning a Bitcoin wallet is anonymous unless you are required to verify that account but the transactions are not that anonymous since you can track addresses on the blockchain.

Bitcoin is not anonymous but the person who started bitcoins and created the first blockchain is now anonymous and cant find anywhere, if only he is still existing in this world then he should create more bitcoins in order for people to get wealthy and live an easier life.

Bitcoin is anonymous in terms of ownership of address and transactions. but its use can still be to know the owner if there is a clear provision of self data. so obviously it's different. for ownership is anonymous but for transactions. depending on the policy he or she is transacting.

BTC is not completely anonymous, if the exchange requires real-name authentication.

That is, the withdrawal process can always be related to the actual name information, and the circulation of bitcoin can be traced back to the source.

But there are hundreds of bitcoin transactions, and that's hard to trace back!

BTC is not completely anonymous, knowing your wallet address, it is easy to find your transaction records on the block!

If you convert BTC into fiat money, you need to trade through exchanges or face to face!

This will reveal your personal identity!

You cant make any bitcoin transaction anonymously. I dont know what are you doing on this forum not knowing this. You can make anonymous transactions with Monero since Monero have technology implemented in their protocol to provide this.

1. Ring signatures, that hide the output being used by hiding it among several others that also appear to be used. NOTE: this is very different than mixing.  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zHN_B_H_fCs&t=1s

2. Stealth addresses, that removes the association between outputs and addresses. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bWst278J8NA

3. RingCT, that is basically a confidential transactions that works with a ring signatures.  (Updated with Bulletproofs in 2018) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M3AHp9KgTkQ

4. Kovri, that hides the IP for the transaction broadcast. This data is never stored on-chain, but it can help protect users from malicious nodes.  ( Updated in 2018) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cxgbLI6IZGs

Yes I think bitcoin is anonymous but what you think is the identity you will give when you exchange it into cash. Of course the cashier will respond to that and approach you depending on the amount you attract. It looks like Bitcoin is really anonymous, because we can transact around the world that can not be traced for any threats. But maybe in the future bitcoin will evolve to become no longer anonymous.

Bitcoin is anonymous maybe because we do not know what this really means or how this really works. Who were the people behind this and how are they really get into this. How do they transact and what assurance can we get from this. Even though people are really fund of doing this.

it's possible for transactions from blockchain, it can be said that we can not know who the transactors are, but we can know that when they redeem the money they have on the exchangers. well, but most likely it is very difficult to track.
