If you know how to store your coins, then Bitcoin can be the safest asset in the world. But on the other hand if you are careless or ignorant, then there is a chance that someone will steal your coins. And since Bitcoin transactions are irreversible, it is impossible to recover the coins once they are stolen.

I agree for the carelessness part. Bitcoin has been operating for years now and I haven't heard about anyone hacking Bitcoin itself but I've heard some people's wallets being hacked though because of their carelessness. If you have a big amount of Bitcoin, guard it like your life depends on it.

Hello pals,
Recently I introduced Bitcoin and cryptocurrency to my friends and family, they liked the concept but they asked me a question that I wasn't able to answer. Is Bitcoin really secure? What if a hacker was able to hack Bitcoin system/blockchain?Who manages Bitcoin security and what are the security measures taken to avoid hackers being able to steal Bitcoins? Why Bitcoin is not blocked for those who use it illegally by buying/selling in the deepweb market? What if governements ban Bitcoin because of these people?
I really appreciate if you  guys give me some answers

The higher our awareness, the more secure bitcoin we have, the many web wallet users who do not want to activate the 2FA feature, so hackers are easy to steal web wallet password.

Bitcoin is not backed by any government or banks that could provide a layer of protection to your earnings or no law enforcement agency to catch the cryptocurrency thieves. It is easy to steal and seems hard to protect. You should protect and keep safe your private keys as this is the only way to open your virtual wallet where your save your bitcoin wealth.

Bitcoin itself is very safe, so long as you keep your keys, no one can steal your bitcoin.

Investing in bitcoins is risky, and cryptocurrencies are volatile.

In the long term, bitcoin is good, because the block chain technology is excellent.

Bitcoin is a bit risky, Bitcoin is Altcoin's most capitalized and most concerned about it, so Bitcoin also controls it. The price of Bitcoin is very evaporating and becoming the economic bubble when FOMO happens, and investors follow it.

Bitcoin is safe but we should secure all accounts and remember their passwords. Especially in their wallet address, we should remember or save the private key. It's important to put all your accounts in a safe place. Roll Eyes Roll Eyes
