With mainstream media still taking an interest in Bitcoin, do you think we have lost perspective of what is important, and are there to much focus on price? or do you think we will find back to the possibility of bitcoin and blockchain?
For inspiration i included my article on the matter

The first time I encountered bitcoin I was totallyin distress and upon curiosity on knowing what every terms they are saying. I can say I was an ordinary folks back then and somehow still now. Being new to this is just like being new to anything we haven't encountered before. And same goed with the solution wherein you have to read and explore to learn more about it.

I think for your average technically minded people it is not too hard to understand. People seem to not be able to get their minds past the whole fact that virtual money is what will replace what we using at the moment and it is only natural for it to take its course. People have allowed themselves to become brainwashed by the media and education system and told to be rich and or successful you must study hard get high grades go to collage and get a good job. We all know this is untrue and the bitcoin world works completely differently in comparison to fiat.

For some people the whole tech behind Bitcoin is a little bit complicated, for others this tech means nothing and they don't even try to understand and learn about it. I'm somewhere between these two tbh, but this doesn't bother me at all Grin as long as I'm making successful trades and right choices in the crypto world it's all good  Cool However, the more you know - the better comes always to play in different situations and it's up to the person if he/she wants to learn more.
It's never complicated, as long as you have interest in knowing more about the blockchain tech.

It looks like so complicated at first, but if one want to understand bitcoin and blockchain system,it's not that hard. There are many article that make a detailed explanation about bitcoin and how it works. It depends on the people who read about it,if you just read it once,of course it will be complicated, the key is,search for what you don't understand, word by word,i'm sure any people will understand it completely.
Every job or any other think when do not have knowledge about it feels complicated but later on when we learn about it it look too much easy, and i think same is the case about bitcoin, bitcoin in very beginning looking complicated but i think that with the passage time when people will practice it will learn about it and then it will become too much easy for them to use it.

I wouldn't say it is too complicated for the average folk but I will say the conversation has been distorted as of late as to what is important and that can be harmful for bitcoin's growth long term. Us here we recognize the technology is great but it would take hours upon hours to explain that to the average person. We just need to redirect the conversation back towards blockchain and bitcoin because those technologies are what is really important here.
In very beginning its look like complicated but i think that once they will start practicing bitcoin it will become to easy for them to use it, because there is no such a rocket science there in using bitcoin, even children can learn about it how to start using bitcoin. We just need to have some basic knowledge about computer and intenet, then it is really too much easy to use bitcoin.

No,bitcoin is not complicated for ordinary folks as long they learn why bitcoin created, they know the uses of bitcoin, the advantages and disabvantages, and if they learn first all about bitcoin. But sadly that most of the peopke whe they heard bitcoin only one thing will be in their mind to earn and make profit. We need to learn not just to earn because if you enter in bitcoin world without knowledge about it then,it will be complicated not just for ordinary folks but for everyone.

Educational sites are getting better at adding all the information needed to really start, so I think the average person can now understand. The only issue, is that you need to spend a lot of time actually learning it which a lot of people wont. If you just read a crypto 101 blog, lots of people still wont understand it and think bitcoin is fake etc. The more and more cryptocurrency is utilized, the more reason elementary and middle schools and adopt classes around it.

High fees = low BTC price
It can be complicated to ordinary folks that are not techie and dont have enough knowledge of using bitcoin. But if one is really interested to learn, i think it wont be that complicated.

Good to hear you saying that so let me give you a test and ask you to read the official Lightning Network white paper
https://lightning.network/lightning-network-paper.pdf

1. How many times is the word "Fee" or "Fees" used in the document
2. Does the document contain the terms "Savings account" and "Spending account"
3. What do they call these "things" that charge interest on money deposited in channels and also charge transaction fees.

Please be aware that the use of the word "BANK" is considered hate speech around here and must not be used in your answer  Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy

It is not complicated for people who has programming background. But for people who has not idea about programming and money transferring system it is hard. Especially mining is too complicated for ordinary folks.
Ordinary folks will only care about using the cryptocurrency, like sending money via a smartphone app from one person to another. Or, they will care about the price of bitcoin, if they're trading, which is also possible on a smartphone or on an ordinary PC. Usually Average Joes don't want to learn about the technology in the background if things work as expected. Mining is the thing that ordinary folks will never try without reading a lot about it, but if they read a lot and they understand, they won't be ordinary folks after...

In here I will not say that bitcoin is complicated or uncomplicated for ordinary people or people. I think if we cultivate a sense of curiosity in ourselves, certainly there will be no complicated things to learn and we will gain a great understanding of our learning outcomes. The world of technology will be more advanced we have to prepare ourselves for new technology if we want to advance too.

No, there is plenty of information out there to easily understand what Bitcoin is and does. Free sites such as youtube and https://www.weusecoins.com breaks everything into easy to understand information. Everything you need to know is there. All a person has to do is their due diligence and research and don't invest more than you can afford or are willing to lose.
I think it's not too complicated to find out about bitcoin if you really want to invest in it. The most basic information about blockchain technology and the technical specifications, quantity and value of bitcoin you can completely find on the internet. It is important for the newbie to invest in bitcoins when they buy bitcoin because the bitcoin value is always very volatile. Consider investing a small amount initially to learn more and then invest more in this market which is a smart investment.

It is true that the main stream media has totally changed the perspective of what bitcoin and other crypto currencies are. People now think of the "price", the "profits" and the "loss" when they hear the word bitcoin. They are just forgetting about the true use of bitcoin and has rather become more profit oriented.

It surely is. They will not believe at first that a virtual currency which is not legal to  nost of the countries has a market value that almost reached 20000 USD. Also, Bitcoin being profitable is hard to believe at first. So it proves that Bitcoin is a bit complicated to understand especially if you know norhing about digital currency and virtual currency.

I'm not gonna pretend that as an ordinary person, I understood Bitcoin right away. I think it's like the Internet when it started. The technical details are complex, true, but can be translated to a simpler one. At the end of the day, though, the use and practicality are what matters to ordinary folks. Right now, bitcoin is not yet there. People see it as an investment rather than a future daily currency.

I believe, like the Internet, though, bitcoin will get there.
