Good Day guys, just searching for an alternative way to invest my money to,
so the question is, is buying new listed token(token that just ended ICO) to an exchange profitable? do many of you do that? would you recommend doing that? or should I buy on their ICOs?
Not all. The downtrend in the market highly affects the market value of the newly listed coins that also, determines whether it would be profitable or not. But the majority is that, market value falls below ICO price.  On the other hand, newly listed tokens are not all having price increase that much especially those that are having large market cap.

Depends on its price. For example Quarkchain was x15 on the first day but now it is much less) Sometimes it's better just to wait for a lower price.

When a new cryptocurrency is added to the exchange listing, it has a positive impact on its rate. Therefore, buying a new cryptocurrency in these cases is profitable.

I think it's the same as buying old coins, there's always an opportunity for pump and dump so I never make new listed coins to buy, invest when the ICO is certainly better and more profitable.
Yes, buy when the ICO promised a lot of bonuses and the developer would say that it was the "lowest price" but in reality we found too many coins that were very dumped, the price was even far below the ICO price when the new listing. and only after a few months did they pump their coins so the price became more expensive

You may be lucky if you choose the right coin in this case, this will be a real jackpot...But it the most of cases it will mean future losses for sure because listing doesn't always prove that coin is good.

No, I absolutely don't think that it is a really good idea to do that because listing always pumps the price, weak coins (95%) always fall after that.

Sometimes it is profitable, but you have to buy wisely. After all, there is no guarantee that the cryptocurrency will become more expensive - it is possible that it will remain unpopular and cheap.

Usually it is profitable investment because new tokens increase own price when they will be add on the market but you will never have sure about it because these coins are still new and you have not any informations about them

I think that under the present state of the crypto-currency market it is better not to pay attention to new projects, because most of them will not have good prospects. Here the fault is the bad state of the crypto-currency market, not the team or a bad idea.
To date, a lot of users are investing their money in projects that already have a finished product. This is not only a guarantee for their investments, but also a real opportunity to work for a quality project.

It's profitable but it's depends on the project itself. Before buy a token, find out more about the information and the future of the project, is it looks good and promising or not. If yes, then yes go buy the token. Token that jus ended ICO and listed on exchange usually have a lower price than the ICO price. It's a good time to buy that token and hold it for long time.

In 90% of the cases no buying a newly listed coin isn't profitable, I see some new coins, and see only 3 for those new that the price has growth, new listed coins is very risk to invest.

The decision should will always depend upon the token market performance  after it was just listed in the exchange because mostly the price will be dump during the early days that some will bounce back and some will not. The advantage is the price is much cheaper to purchase but make sure that you review will their tokens that their product is feasible to the masses to attract more people to invest in the future.

I find it risky because there are icos which has an inactive team so I find it risky to trust new coins. Unless it has been established well. I would still prefer to invest with bitcoin where I could just lie and wait for the best time to sell. Bitcoin would really give me an assurance of a profitable future.

That's the thing. If you invest in well established coins the short term upside will be considerably lower. It depends on your risk appetite.

All investments certainly have a risk, but in my opinion when buying a new listed coins it is more profitable because usually when the initial is available at exchanges the price is still cheap so we have the potential to get big profits.

Yeah, these days it can be way more profitable than the ICO prices. It can be the most profitable investment if you find solid projects with a proper team, while older old-fashion tokens are hanging out in their comfort zone. Cheesy

All this depends on a team of developers if they have a good team of course when the token is already entered in the exchange price is very high. And this will be more profitable, but you should be able to choose the best token so that the results are also good.
