Good Day guys, just searching for an alternative way to invest my money to,
so the question is, is buying new listed token(token that just ended ICO) to an exchange profitable? do many of you do that? would you recommend doing that? or should I buy on their ICOs?

The answer depends on the project you are evaluating. It is possible to give a yes answer for a project that has a goal with a really good quality team in the direction of a good aim, but the answer will not be clear for the projects that are not bright for the future and projects for empty purposes.

I think there is a possibility that a new listed coin will dump because bounty hunters and investors during ICO will release their tokens. That's why i think buying the coin in its early age in exchange is a good idea. But of course, there are also people who wait till the new coin hit exchange and it is also possible to the coins to reach its upper limit when coins will list in exchange.

Usually this is the trend of newly listed coin, people buy it then awaits the first few pump of prices then dumps the coins. This is in most cases, thus, it is profitable in the early stages and so new coins aren't good for holding long term.  This is trend is also one of the reasons why new coins fail due to dumping.
However, there are those new coins that have goo products with real world application and is worth holding long term.

I think you can get tokens during ICO periods. These tokens usually rise after ICO.
It is necessary to investigate projects well and make smart choices.

Oh really? Rise after ICO? How fascinating ... do you understand that most of people sell their tokens after the ICO and end of bounty (that often coincide with the end of ICO)? Most of them fells and stays on low price lever forever

Most but not all coin price drops when newly listed in exchange. The reason why, because most of bounty hunters immediately sell their token rewards. Also, those investors bought their coin at early ICO stage when they already gain a profit. I prefer to wait for sometime and buy when the price went down.

Buying new listed coin is profitable, it depends to the coin if lot of investors invested in it then for sure you can get your profit but if less investors I am pretty sure you will gain losses. So again, dont just invest immediately, try to do research about it.

It is worth buying if you know that the project is promising or something should happen that will affect the price increase.

It very hard to tell if buying new alts will be profitable or not because it's also like ico's in a sense that they have a high risk in investing. You'll need luck in finding a good new alt to invest to. For me it's really difficult to invest in a unknown alts.

Not all the time. In my opinion, buying newly listed coin is a very difficult decision. Not all coins perform well in the market even after the ICO. You might have some loses if your not careful. But there are also new coins that increases their value after they have been enlisted. I think it all depends on the developer of the coin and its uses whether it will be profitable or not.

Yes, it is profitable, but you should be very fast to buy before the price will rise seriously. May be it will be better to find an insider information about listing on big exchanges and then to buy a coin.
It is profitable of the project could be develop by the team. Mostly when an Ico finished and listed in the exchange so happen price dumps. Just buy only if you are sure with the coin to develop and can follow on the roadmap of the project.

For me i prefer you buy in ICO, because if you do this you will also help dev and team to gain funds for their project. Ya if coin first listing in exchange the price can dump but not all, some coin when first listed the price goes up. Just carefull to choose ICO
No I don’t think so because there are already more than 1000 cruptocurrenies in the market and many of them are unknown to many people. They are investing in bitcoin. In this situation if there is any other digital currency announced, it will not gain the attention of the people, because good and profitable options are available. I will never invest in new currency.

Alot of the time, especially in this recent bear market, a coin can dump massively when it is first listed. If you are thinking long term though, i think it would be very unlikely for most decent ICOs not to pass their ICO price again when the market has an upturn later in the year.

In most cases it can be profitable to buy coins when they are just listed, just for a sort term trading. Usually when a coin gets listed on a good exchange there's a huge 1st green candle and then the price drops down, sometimes even below ICO price, so it can be a very good moment to buy it, because in most cases there will be another green candle where you can sell the coins and get a good profit. Of course, it's quite risky but if you have some experience you can understand when it's the right moment to buy and sell.
Lots of people want quick result or even wait for some time but for many years and launching new currency means waiting for a long time. Who I should invest in such a currency which price is less than 0.00000001 dollars. It means that I have wasted my time and money. Finally I conclude that never invest in new currency,. Authentication is also an issue with new currency.

you can do it like what you say, but most importantly you already know and learn it. however you should search and investigate before you actually speculate. try it to be a reference in whatever you are going to do that is related to crypto.

I really like this strategy, because I already take big profit when buying token PRL (Oyster Pearl) in early december, just hold for 1 month.

but we must to research first about the potential tokens that you will buy, and to find a good token for deep price from the ICO prices when the first list on the exchanger is very difficult.
buy in decentralized exchanges and sell if already list on other exchanges like kucoin,OKex,binance, etc

Bitcoin may be the TCP/IP of money.

It depends, of course, on WHICH coin it is. Small cap coins are great. They have wonderful upside potential. But just because a coin is listed on CMC does not mean it's going anywhere. Do your research on all investments unless you're ready to lose some money.
