Actually i'm not heard about CMC is safe or not. But for it is safe and we can see some of the altcoins on their have no value or volume maybe it is failed or gone away and that was the time CMC will be remove of it.
CMC should eliminate underdeveloped pennies and without trading volume, it will be better because it will help investors avoid shitcoin. I think CMC is currently unable to do this because they have made a commitment to list those coins and certainly in the future Coinmarketcap will have the necessary selection to eliminate bad things related to this market

I don't think coinmarketcap will just stay like that, the developer of the coinmarketcap need to take a response from it. It is not very safe since there are so many coins are dead and most of them are shits. even at the top 100 there are so many shits coin.

The following are my observed reasons
1. Many dead projects still on cmc
2. Market cap is fake Cox many projects which have seized to trade adds up to the market cap
3. Cmc doesn't verify authenticity of projects before listing it
4. CMC now have ads of fake icos on their website thereby leading people to scammers
Funny enough so many NOOBS believe anything and everything dey see on cmc to be authentic
Let me stop here and anyone against it should bring a proof to counter it

Why do you blaming CMC , its all our fault why we dont do some researched about the project before we invest, and the advertising issue was not a big deal since CMC is just advertized it to get some payment or to generate income, we must act accordingly before we invest to minimized the risk of being scam do a little researched my suggestion is just look for another data and insight platform if you dont trust CMC. Yes I observe that many dead projects are still listed on cmc but really we don't have any other complete website for crypto like cmc so for now let's keep the endurance alive

Until now, CMC has become the main benchmark in seeing coins that are listed and circulating in the crypto world. in my opinion CMC is still the best because it presents various important information on a coin. There is no website platform that has the same quality as CMC, for me we have the right to choose and determine the best website. Though many are beginning to doubt the credibility of CMC,though it has done a good job so far but somethings might not appear to be right abut CMC now.I just hope CMC can clean up the house.
You should use the CMC website as a source of information that can be used to form an idea of the project, but not as a guide to the purchase and selection of the project. In any case, the best solution is always to conduct your own research project.
CMC is not an exchange. It's just an information resourse. With good functionality. I use CMC api for periodical estimation of my cryptoportfolio. And it works practically without issues.
You would not blame coin market cap for s scam project.
Coin market cap has a huge number of coins on its list so why would you search for a scam project.

in my opinion there is nothing to worry about coinmarketcap because we don't put anything there because only the site used sees price but if you don't trust coinmarketcap I suggest you to use https://www.coingecko.com/id
You can't blame them, the projects don't have the volume but they are still listed on CMC because the exchange has not yet moved them. And also about ads, they advertise on your behavior, and it's not the fault of CMC

I don't care about all altcoin listed in coinmarket, I only use coinmarket to find out the best altcoin and make investment decisions, I often learn altcoin in the top 300 and a few new altcoin. In addition, we only use coinmarket for free and don't invest or pay any money there, so it's always safe.
