In my point of view you should buy EOS and TRX because they are compositors of Etherium and the prices are very low now a days after some months or end of the year price can be up.
Yes we dont know what could blockchain become in few years, i do think its good to hold new project with low value like TRX, EOS and NEM. 
etherum became one of the crypto that has a good market among others. even investor interest in ethereum is very high almost equal to bitcoin. that will make ethereum always be the best investment asset in the future after bitcoin.
