Why you would not trust on ethereum? it has been the 2nd for a long time already, i do not understand why it would be a "risky" coin just like a lot of people in here, the market is bad at the moment, but it will recover at some point

It is better to hold ethereum for longer time but if a person want a more secure holding then they have not to stay away from the market and have to keep alert from the market all the time as if any thing bad happened then he will lose all of his money just like the hack of ethereum two years ago. I do not say that it will happen again but care is better than regret and anything is possible in that market.
For my own opinion etherium and other crypto coins are good for a long term.Its better to be patience and hold what coin do you have.In the future you earn good profit.

Ethereum is also good for long term aside from btc. What makes it good right now is the price is considering low and it was expected to rise more. It is highly possible that it can grow to thousand of bucks. As they say eth is the future rival of btc in top spot so it is very possible for it's price to become 4digit.

5-10 years is such a long term investment that people do not even consider anything worth holding that much. If you have as much patience then you are better off in the other financial markets where banks offer you fixed returns over a period of time. Do not waste your time here in this market.
