Hell no! not all ICOs are scam. There are good ICOs out there with good team support. It is very necessary to research in order to come out with these good ICOs among the bad nut ICOs. Always seek support from expert if you cannot identify a good ICO before investing because some of the scam ICOs come with interesting and catchy ideas to attract investors.

what I see here are bounty participants who complain about not getting tokens, and say they are scam. just be patient, sometimes the process takes up to 4 months and it will actually be paid. not all ico is a scam.

Irrespective of the fact that most of the ICOs are scam I still believe that there are still good ICOs with potential out there. The most important thing is to carry out research in any project before investing in it.

Although we cannot say every ico is a scam, we cannot ignore the fact that too many of them are really scams. Some ico have scamming intentions right from the very beginning.  Other Ico raises huge amount of money that can turn a person into very greedy and in the end will scam investors hard earned money.

There are still some ico out there that are legit and have potential. Just do research and invest wisely.

It's true that most of the ICOs are a scam. But, to be honest, not all the 90% you mentioned are scam. Most of the ICOs are failed to run because they are failed to raise the fund. ICO investors have been decreased recently. We can't call those scam, therefore.

Now, in fact, there are a lot of topics about ICO companies. And also about how they work and develop. But I do not believe that all companies are scammers. This is very strongly said. Until now, there is a small percentage of these flourishing projects. And this is a fact.

It isn't necessary to say that all ICO swindlers, are a lot of good, with worthy products and the good ideas. Just many projects already appeared with ICO, and haven't provided a product and are still at a development stage

Not every ICO coin is a scam, but majority of them is a scam, like 70% of all ICOs. It is competetive and dangerous market, so you have to be patient and careful.
Avoid scam ICOs, make analysis!

One should be careful of fallacy of hasty generalization here. Not all are scams, not all set out to scam, not all would scam, however, there are bad eggs whose sole aim is to scam. Those that would later turn out to be scam are those that failed to reach their soft or hard target, and quite a few do find it difficult to repay those that have invested, I don't know why. Just a few in this instance though. I have read about 1 in particular. They are still dragging the payments. The scam ICO are banking on people's vulnerability, especially, those who have little knowledge about crypto. And that isn't a good publicity for all those involved.

No, you can't say like that. Because there are still good ICOs. As well there are a lot of scams in the crypto field. But we can't tell, every ICO is a scam. We should read out the all of Website, Whitepaper, ANN Thread and telegram chat before involving any ICO project. So this is the way to prevent the joining of scam projects.

Not all ICOs scam because many ICOs profitable when landed on market. With rising people interest on crypto market, many peoples create fake project for their own benefits. We should keep research first before join in some ICOs

The hype of ICO's last year was really the sign for opportunists to take advantage of the situation. Almost any group who can create good whitepaper is qualified to be an ICO. That was the problem that need to be resolved. One way to do that, I agree with the US legislator to give passport to the ICO's. It means that ICO team should be verified first before giving them the signal to crowdfunding. In this way, trust can be brought back. ICO's are really good great alterntive in finding easy ways in several traditional processes.

Everybody keeps on saying scam scam scam for all of these ICO's. 90% of them are crap, yes. BUT there is the 10% of them, like vector, who are absolutely not scams. They are good projects that will really help the crypto community grow and its not fair to call an ICO a scam until you have actually researched it and you are sure it is a scam.

Just my two satoshis...
Every ICO is of course not a scam. People should not generalize that all ICOs are scam simply because they got scammed in one or two projects. Just ensure you study a project very well before investing in it.

ICO is not synonymous with scam. There are scam in every sector and niche of cryptocurrency and beyond. Many ICO gave been very successful and has yielded good profit for investors.  Some other ICO are purely wasting of time,  resources and effort.
Just the ICO organization is too available. Almost anyone can create your coin, promise anything you want and release it. And then people don't know what to do, so the coins and die.

Anyone saying all ICO is a scam is just saying it out of shear ignorance. You have so many good and legit ICOs that you can invest in and make good profits from it.

That's right, the ICO market of course is crawling with scammers and we need to do something. But remember that all the coins of the top 10, too, once was just ICO projects. A lot of great projects that will live for a very long time and will contribute to the development of the crypto market.

Yes, of course there are many good and real ICO projects. But the very fact that you yourself mentioned that 90% of them are crap does not make much of a reputation for this type of project. I am also of the opinion that there are projects that are fully deserving our trust and investment, but the majority determines the opinion of the people about them - and it is that they are a scam.
