Guys, be smart! All financial investment has risks. But if you doubt than you can get your money to any cryptofund. If you act self than  it should constantly watch for holdable coins. Some time successful projects suddenly die.

Last year alts rise a lot. I dont know the average percentage. But when I check coins in the market at year 2013 lots of them dead now (too low ranks). probably new tech coins won them (like peercoin, namecoin, ixcoin etc)

Also we are following new ICO s and most of us expecting too much gain from new coins which are not at the market. If our ICO expectations will happen, when they added to market, current market coins will go down. kind of paradox  Huh

I don't think that holding some altcoins is dangerous but I can't ignore the fact that there are some altcoin that was destined to go down so before investing in altcoin , always make sure that you choose the right coin , make sure that it has a good potential in the future so that your investment will grow.

There is always that risk if you want to hold coins for years but risks will result in great gains if successful. All you need to do is follow the project and monitor and decide for your self if it has a future.
really to analyze altcoin will be more difficult than bitcoin, because altcoin depends on the course of that project, so if that product sales project is good, then altcoin will survive

Of course very risky. But the whole crypto market is risky. Maybe the riskiest investment instruments are cryptos.
If you think this is dangerous this market is not for you.
You can invest your money in the banks for a less dangerous investment.

Yes, at the present time and the distant past, much has been created of the new coins, they were too many. Many haven't achieved anything and some of them grew at least a little, but priorities of course is already there.

Now there are a lot of applicants, a lot of good cryptocurrency developments, but there are too many new coins created, some of them are simply not needed.

I can say, it depends on the Alt values itself. I've experienced hold an Airdrop token, but within a 6 month, most of the token has no value.
So, if you believe your alts has a unique and good roadmap, I think it's worth to hold.

Many new types of cryptocurrencies are being created, and it is almost impossible to control all of them, and soon they will all fall, some will rise, but not all.

I'm not sure that holding altcoins is that dangerous. Most of alts are trading in pair with BTC or ETH only, so if BTC will gain value, alts will, too. This is too common answer, but this is the idea.
Although most of alts are trading in pair with BTC or ETH but i don't think that the price of them depend on the price of Bitcoin or ETH.
Personally, the price of any altcoin depend on the project behind it. If it has a good project that propose a new good idea and has a good development team then i'm sure that its price will soon go up notwithstanding the price of Bitcoin or ETH goes up or down. You can research the price of IOTA, Stellar, NEO to see this.

it depends on the altcoin you are investing ofcourse you have to be very careful there put your own criteria and what suits you Mine is basically. the team and how active they are on social media - telegram especially. altcoin features what new things the coin is bringing to the table.

There are not dangerous if you choose to hold good altcoins. Like ETH is one of the altcoins you should hold till now.
I'm sure 2018 will be the year of Altcoins especially Ethereum.

I don't see any problems in holding my altcoins. Yeah you need to choose what type of coins you need to hold in a long term and if you find out that it need to dumps due to few supply then you need to act fast before it's too late. Monitoring is essential in holding altcoins.

HODLing is never dangerous, it always gives good returns. Altcoins prices are also increasing as the price of BTC is going up now. For instance, NEO was around 55 USD month back and is now around 85 USD, predictions are that NEO may cross 200 USD later this year but for that, you need patience and the capacity to HODL.
Another key thing before you buy and HODL is picking up the right Coin. Just like in equity market, stocks with weak fundamentals are usually cheap, in a crypto world never chase sh*t coins that are cheap in value, go for tokens which have solid fundamentals (like a strong team, roadmaps etc). If you pick your coins wisely and HODL, success is deemed to happen for you.

Holding altcoin is never dangerous when you have assessed the potential of the altcoin. The altecoin as peercoin, namecoin is a typical example of the failure of a start-up company.
They often lack experience when undertaking business expansion. Insufficient staff to help the company become strong. So the important factor of investors is to evaluate the true value of the company.

We all know that there are a lot of altcoins out there and we should reasearch them ourselves so that we would know which coins has a potential to pump up in terms of price. Holding altcoins is not dangerous as long as the coins you have is good and have potential in the future.

If the coin you hold is in accordance with the situation in the market, it will not harm you. Precisely the market will help you to protect your coins from the extermination of money you have invested in crypto. We should be able to think rationally to be able to choose the right coins to hold, so we will not misstep and can get what we expect from crypto.
If you hold the right coin, hold on for a long time they will bring you high profits. So make the decision. I see many people made the mistake of regretting not having patience.

I agree with this but to do that it requires your effort just to make your own search on the coin you think has a bright future and you need to search very well the background and of it and after that. That's for you to make a plan before buying on it because it will minimize your losses.

Yes, if we hold a potential penny and tend to grow to a powerful user in the future, that penny will bring us tremendous profits. So there is no reason why we do not hold them.
