There are some projects still profitable but generally we couldn't invest to them for example binance ICOs. Others are generally not getting profit much.
obviously it is still profitable if you can choose a good project, sometimes you have to really be able to determine the project is a project that will be profitable in the near future or long, this is important because you can take your profits as soon as possible or have to hold some time
It all depends on the project if you can choose a good project, of course it will be profitable and for now in my opinion a good project is rarely found so you have to be smart in choosing projects

It is very difficult to invest in a good project as it is not easy to separate between the two of them. In cryptocurrencies investments many investors has lose huge amount of money in investments into some fake projects during icos and good whitepaper does not transmitted to good projects. 
of course it's still profitable but the investment in ico is very good but you have to find a quality project and now it's hard to find, most of the ico projects are scams and one thing the investment in ico is very high risk so if we don't have enough experience in researching ico then it's better to stay away.

there are many failures in ico investments, but that does not mean that all ico projects fail, because there are still successful ico projects, so if you want to invest ico you have to study the project and understand whether the project is good and quality.
Hello everyone, I have seen many failed projects recently. I have received many emails regarding investing on ICOs, so is it still a good time to invest? I didn't made good with my earlier investments. Is there still a future for ERC-20 tokens?
I personally still believe in the future of the ERC-20 token even though we often see many projects failing but we still believe that 1 in 10 projects must be successful, so we must keep trying and do our best.Agree, of course not all projects based on ERC-20 are successful, very tight competition certainly makes many projects fail, and this applies to all ICOs, even we never see EOS-based or Waves-based tokens can success like ERC-20.
If I see a good project, I’m waiting for it to go on the exchange and buy from the exchange. It always helps to buy me a low price and remove the risks. And if the project has a bounty low prices will be.
This is a good strategy actually, because i always see when the tokens listed on the exchange, the price always below the ICO price. If the project is really good and have a good future, it's better to buy it bulk when the price is at low price. Good one mate.Yes, agree at the beginning of their ICO, it is impossible for us to predict them in the market, everything we have to see their activity and what they mentioned in the roadmap will help us to find potential about the project. Before this tricks works, as bounty will dumped the coins that they've received and good team of developers will buy it to make sure the coins will not fall to hard, so if you buy it in the right time you will be able to catch cheap coins and wait for support to buy it back and ride with profits.

Yes there are still good projects out there. Do bear in mind though that even the ones that succeed often fall in price when they first hit the exchanges. But these are of course all projects that are just starting out, so don't expect huge prices straight away. It will likely take at least a year from ICO before any working product is available and the coin starts to see any rise.

you are right, no guarantee where they make sales, or how their sales results. Since most new token also fell when trading opened. and when we can't utilize it then we will be left behind and miss the moment. of course still profitable, if you're tired for participating in ico/sto conventional project why not to tying participaing IEO (Initial coin exchange) from big exchange like Binance, Huobi, Bittrex, because as i know every ico from this big exchange always success and after isted in their exchange usually pumped more than 2-10x ico price

Well some of are have future in crypto and some are totally don't have any future. ICO will be profitable if the team or projects are presenting a good product and ideas that contribute in cryptocurrency.. Jump to:
