of course still profitable, if you're tired for participating in ico/sto conventional project why not to tying participaing IEO (Initial coin exchange) from big exchange like Binance, Huobi, Bittrex, because as i know every ico from this big exchange always success and after isted in their exchange usually pumped more than 2-10x ico price
Previously, investing in ICO had caused a lot of losses to investors, even the majority of investors were hardly interested anymore. When viewed from its reputation that continues to deteriorate, it seems like there will be no more people who want to invest in ICO, meaning that no ICO can survive anymore.

in my opinion investment in ICO is now full of risk although not all ICOs can be harmful it all depends on friend skills without skill, it is better avoid ICO investment

I can say No because of my experience. I experience ICO during the crisis of bitcoin not just once but thrice. Bitcoin is the mother of all coins in the cryptocurrencies right meaning they are relaying in it and when bitcoin is down for sure there will be a problem in that specific ICO that you are investing. It can be delay the listing and sometimes it will just close. ICO will rise up again after bitcoin recovery.
I think investing on ICOs is still profitable if you can choose the right ICO, although it is very difficult. Now many ICO on going scam.

I have not invested in ICO for a long time. Everyone says that this industry is dead. I think that these investments will start making profits at the time when the market goes up.
Most of the issue is about icos failing to raise their prices and most of the time their timelines keep getting moved and most times even failing out flat so i think active developers and some large investments might help things around
you're right, new developments, and also needed will certainly improve ICO quality. for now, I think there is still a lot of ICO worth. well, I think a lot of good ICO has come back. I think there are still many people who benefit from the ICO to date.
Seems market started recovery a bit and some ICOs becoming profitable again. Look at few latest ICOs (for example Bittorent and LTO network, which made a lot of xx even in this bear market). This is a good sign for market.

Those are the recent project but already given good profit to the investors but one thing we need to be sure ICO's launched recently are failing to increase their prices in the market. The market recovery is in speculation which we don't have good sign of improvements sudden drops and sudden increases.
ICOs need to created proper development to able gain the interest from the market and that's a difficult task.
Not only for Bitcoin, mare. As far as I know Fidelity going to launch platform with listing not only BTC, but some top altcoins too, and the same is with regard to Bakkt. ANd as you said, altcoins always following by BTC. So if BTC will start bullrun, than other altcoins too.
