Hello everyone, I have seen many failed projects recently. I have received many emails regarding investing on ICOs, so is it still a good time to invest? I didn't made good with my earlier investments. Is there still a future for ERC-20 tokens?
In most cases, investing in ICOs is not that good idea anymore. But there always will be gems in which we should look for. Before investing in ICO, make a good research on their coin economics.

If the market continues to drop and red like now, it can be ascertained that the future of ICO will die, of course, is a surprise if the team gets money but after completion there is a significant decline which will have an impact on the price of coins.

yes of course investment in ICO is still very profitable you can take advantage of when the price is down trend like this to enter as much buying and investing as you can, make sure you choose the right ICO
yes, I also think that investing in ICO is really profitable, but unfortunately not all ICOs have such a thing, because most people prefer other strategies outside their whitepaper when they have earned money.

Some ICOs are still profitable but they already having hard times in reaching their target cap in time due to the current market situation. Many of the ICO  end sale are postponed so they can be able to reach their desired caps and this postponement will take many months before it is completed.  Today's crypto investors seems no longer keen on investing on many ICOs unless the project is exceptional and can guarantee profits when the token is listed in the exchanges.

i believe that investing on ICOs still good if you found a good project, for now i there there is a good ico like playgame, and capital

Thank you for your suggestion but I don't think, gaming tokens are good to invest. They don't last that long, I have seen many tokens.

I've invest in gaming tokens during that World Cup but I still didn't received right now Sad

Investing in ICOs could still be profitable for those want to dare, but as for me and my household, we would venture not into any ICO until further notice. 2018 wasn't quite the year for ICOs and most of them are a mess at the moment, BTC/ETH taken from investors and they're left with shitcoins which amount to nothing

If others said that investing in ico is profitable at this very moment then I would object, this time is not, we have currently some issues regarding some other projects and finding it hard to lost their tokens to come exchanges, and some others ended as scam, so still it's your own prerogative to invest in what project you are interested in.

I know you will hate this answer, but....it depends. It depends if the project has a use case that's solid enough to attract investors and raise money in the current market conditions. For example, I'm very interested in Ludos Protocol lately - I hope I'm allowed to mention the name here - as it's the kind of upcoming ICO that has an actual use case.

It's all about finding that project able to change something for good or provide a real solution to a common problem. So back to your question, yet's it's still profitable, but you need to do your research and find that project to put your money on.

At the moment, it is difficult to find a project that can raise enough money and begin to develop. So now it is better to postpone all thoughts about investing in ICO.

Not that much. I stopped investing in ICOs since January. Now it is more profitable for me to switch on trading and buying dumped coins after listing on exchange.
By doing that I eliminate risk of non listed coin
buying dumped coins give us more profit possibility and has less risk if compared with investing in ico stages.at this moment ico didnt give us profit anymore since much dumper in market.

Investing ICO is still profitable but the major problem is we need to choose the right project for getting profit after listing in the exchanges. Many people are investing based on the rating given by the ICO listing websites, we need to research ourselves before investing into any ICO.

100% true! IF you find a very good project, your profit can be extremely high. The guys, who risk and invest a LOT in ICOs, become rich people in less than 2 years. However, the risk to pick a scam project is high.

Not for everybody, because reason is that people don't get profit, ICOs dump their eth and tokens as well, so in general there is less demand on tokens during and after tokensale.

I still have confidence that the ico project will develop again in the future, and faith and patience are the main capital in surviving bad conditions

Depending on what ICO you are going to invest in. I believe that everything depends on the project, idea and team. And of course the listing on the exchange.

Of course this is a profitable way as long as we have to be very careful in choosing good projects, managers who have proven responsible.

Failure is delayed success, from failure we can learn to be more careful in moving.

No, the best thing that you can do is to stay away from initial coin offerings for some time, at least until the market recovers a bit and icos can start to have more awareness.
Nowadays, most of the icos do not even collect the softcap, and most of them do not even raise $100k dollars.
