From mine experience, in a bullish market it is good to buy at ico because when it gets listed, the price increases above the ico price but in a bearish run, I usually prefer to get it after it gets listed because most of the time, it trades below ico price.

you always need to analyse the project, and according to token distribution politics and other points you should decide if it is worth to invest and when

According to my own experience it's more profitable to buy during ICO or even presale, if there're some bonuses. Of course, there's always a risk that the price can be dumped below ICO price. But it won't happen when the market is rising and a project has a lot of hype.

It depends on the ICO that you were joining. Check the whitepaper and roadmap first before trusting to the ICO. Also check the team running the ICO. Keep in mind that joining an ICO might require you to hold your coins for long time. ICO coins won't appreciate until all the bounty tokens got dumped by bounty participants. You will only earn after months of holding but it will be worth it considering the amount of coins that you have and the bonuses offered during the ICO. Its still better to invest on ICO as long as you know what you were doing.

I noticed that many investors were afraid to buy during ICO because their reason they are cheaper can be bought on market. Especially when they found out  that a large percentage is allotted in the bounty program. Many Bounty Hunters  immediately selling token/coin even lower than the ICO price.

This is also a strategy in investment that works, when a large quantity of token is distributed during bounty among a large number of people but for fewer bounty participants, it might not be different from other investors. Some investors also causes the dump with high bonuses from ICO, imagine a 70% bonus, that's too much. 5-10% is enough and safe for any project.

It depends on the kind of ico project not all coins are the same and they said that if the value is low the more chance it is to have great profit and so it is not wrong to buy ico

I think if you are not aiming for the bonuses and you don't have enough money to buy tokens from sale then just wait for them to enter the market. Because bounty hunters will dump the token quickly once they get their reward. Another thing is if you believed in the project then buy it at their ico then after that if you want to accumulate more at low price then wait for them to enter exchange.

If you want cheap and more affordable price, of course, better buy when ICO or pre-ICO, usually there is a discount. However, if you are unsure of the project's continuity, whether it is a scam or not, then you can buy it when listing in the market, then wait for further developments, such as listing on a large potential exchange.

Most often, coins are more profitable to buy after ICO on the exchange. But if you need a large volume, then you need to buy at the stage of ICO, as buying from the exchange you will greatly raise the price.

Buying in ICO is too risky compare to those already in the market. But buying in ICO can provide a high profit if you choose a project that having the potential with a solid team behind it. Price of Ethereum is also a factor during and after the ICO. Considering that when you buy a token duribg ICO with eth at $800 then drops to $500 when token intriduced to the market.  To prevent being scammed, buying in the market is the better choice.

It seems to me that not all ico when entering the market prices will decrease, most ico will already enter the market, if they do not want to risk, I buy in the market

There are advantages and disadvantages. The advantage of buying on ICO is that the price is really good but be careful to control the token to make sure the investment is a good one. IF you buy on market you have the insurance that it is already wanted on the market

I have noticed that recently the token price after the exchange falls, and sometimes very much! In order not to risk when investing at the stage of the ICO and not to freeze your capital for a long time, you can buy coins after the ICO, but not all, but only those that quickly collected hard cap and with a good road map, team and price!
I used to invest in ICO for pre-sale with good bonuses of up to 55%, but you need to wait too long! Now I'm more inclined to the above strategy.

That really comes down to how strongly you believe in the project because if you are confident about its success, it's best to invest during ICO where you usually get some extra deals. For example, I got some DIWtokens during the 1st phase of their ICO and got a 32% extra tokens, I think they're still offering some bonus now. So the decision is very subjective and depends on your judgement on each individual ICO, there is no golden rule you can follow.

I think that the potential of the project does not matter now, and it is better to buy it on the stock exchange, since the price falls several times from the ICO price, even if it is a very good project and already has its own product.

I think not all ico when entering the market prices will go down, but most ico already enter the market will down, if not want to bear the risk I think it is better to buy in the market

Buying during Ico is risky imho. Most of coin prices are dipping as soon as hit the exchanges. Because of that buying from exchanges is gold  Wink

The answer to this question depends on what goals you pursue. Undoubtedly buy at this stage is much more profitable, especially if there is a bonus. But this is also risky, because the project can fail.

If you buy from ICO, you will buy cheap, but high risky. Buying on the market is more expensive but less risky. Anyway, the choice is up to you. #Egretia is also selling ICO, please invest as soon as this is a potential project, no scams, huge profits

The trend of recent months has taught me that first of all, the project that I am interested in should be added to my bounty list, and then after listing at the exchange to purchase below the ICO price.
