Buying during ICO sometimes will allow investors to be first set of people to own tokens/coins when it finally hit market. But it usually requires investing more because what will be yours after ICO depends on how much u invested.
Obviously, it is better to buy coins on the exchange after a certain time after the bidding, then you can buy them at a price ten times lower than on the ICO. I personally do not invest anymore, after a bitter experience in investing in 3 projects. More than 8 months have passed, but the purchased coins did not rose in price to the level that was at the ICO.
Buying tokens on the exchange gives an additional advantage - you do not need to undergo a KYC procedure. I think that this is a weighty advantage. Many investors refuse to invest at the ICO stage, this negatively affects the entire market.
I think it's better to buy altcoins during ICO because I think it's cheaper and comes with great bonus offer as high as 50%. Some coins pump immediately it's on market and the idea or mindset many have that they will buy from bounty hunters may not be feasible because they too will want to make maximum gain once the price has gone up.
From the little experience i have, buying at the market is better than buying during an ICO. When you buy at the market, then you are sure that you will one day be able to sell them just as you bought.Some icos may not be successful.

Investing in ICO woeth it but it depends to the ICO but they have ICO who are worthless after listing the price of the coin or token to the market the price is lower than ICO so that's why they have advatange of investing to ICO and waiting the token or coin listing to the market instead of investing to ICO. But better to invest to both to make more profit.
It depends on the circumstances. If you go with a good project with the well-thought concept and experienced team behind - then there is nothing to worry. Of course, there might be a situation when the price goes a bit lower than ICO purchase price but this is temporary and sooner or later project might give impressive profits to early investors!
As for me it's better to buy tokens during the main sales of ico because when they enter the market they can jump in price by 200-300%
It depends on the coin and the campaign, on how successful the campaign was. If you research enough on the project then you might be able to tell whether a campaign is going to be successful and when it would actually be. If it takes time for it to implement its platform then buying in the market is the best way to earn from it as the price would be down for longer periods

We cannot blame them because it's depends to the ICO successful. Yes that's true a lot of bounty hunter always dump the price but it's their rights because bounty hunter is the one who help the project to promote it. It's natural if investor afraid to invest during ICO but it's big possibility to earn more profit if you buy during ICO because you can get a big bunos. #Datarius

It depends on the project behind the ICO. If the project have a high potential growth then better to buy in ICO but the thing is you need to study first the project to avoid being scammed. Investing in ICO can gives a high return with excellent project but with high risk as well. Buying in market will assure you that you will not be scammed since the altcoin/token already listed. And one thing to consider that ICO is on limited period only.
