It depends on the existing situation, whether the ICO project will succeed or not ?? if the project goes beyond hardcap, then of course the bounty hunters will not dump coins.
Each project has different potential and before you join ICO or wait in market, see road map first.

I noticed that many investors were afraid to buy during ICO because their reason they are cheaper can be bought on market. Especially when they found out  that a large percentage is allotted in the bounty program. Many Bounty Hunters  immediately selling token/coin even lower than the ICO price.

I find it better to invest during ICO time because the value is lesser. You can have a higher profit when the project is successful. But it is your choice since buying in the market has laser risk factor.

You can have higher returns when buying in an ICO, but also, you lock your money for a longer period. And if you do not choose the ICO carefuly, a quick loss can also be the case. So it is not an easy pick, depends on pesonal preference as well.

I think it depends on the ICO project. because there are coins that cost when ICO is cheap but after entering the market is expensive and there are also coins that when ICO is expensive and after there is a cheap market. if the project is good having a solid community and team then buying when ICO is a good idea. which is important when buying we must know the team and the project manager is good or not.

It seems to me better to sell after entering the stock exchanges and then the price rises to these tokens   Cool

It all depends on the risk and the opportunity to earn more. You can buy during the ICO and during the market. The difference is. If you buy during the ICO is a big risk, but you can make good money. If you buy during the market, the risks are minimal and you can earn less.
Yeah, you are right. It really depends on you to decide when to buy. But i would suggest to but during ICO because the bonus is quite high and for it alone you can gain almost half of your investment if the bonus is 50%. Buying during market would be a gamble in terms of pricing because not all the time that the price of token would go below ICO price.

it turns out that ICO should only participate in order to drain on growth, and in the long term it is better to buy in a couple of three months on a decline in the market.

I invested into 10 ICOs, but only one of them has a higher price than ICO price was. This coin is Pundi (NPSX)  Cool and I will hold it forever. It is my favorite one.

Both is better, it is just a matter of researching and your strategy on the market.

Seeing that the prices of the coins are lowered during icos in order to get people interested in it, your best bet would be to buy the coins during the ico period before they get listed on the exchanges.

As for me, if you are confident in the company, it's worth investing in ICO to get more coins at a lower price.

If you do not want to risk, the safest option is to buy coins later on the market.  But you will get fewer coins.

In General, it all depends on the project itself - an excellent project will not traded below the ICO price, in this case, buying on the market will be much more expensive. Coins on the exchange might have multiply in price from their ico price but it is safer.

it's the truth, very often this happens, mainly because of bounty hunters as you pointed out. But if no one would buy in ICO, there wouldn't be anything after that. Maybe the best strategy is to support the project through ICO and then buy the rest after the ICO when the prices dip

i would still recommend to buy in ico because ico provide cheap and low price. now we do not have to be glued to the exchanger but look at the increase in the price of the coin. so in ico not a problem when we get a potential coin.

At the moment, where the whole market is on a big dump, I prefer to not invest in ICO's.  Undecided Because when the new coins or tokens get listed while the market is still in the dump, the chance that the coins will lose their value is very high.
So at the moment, there are some ICOs running im interested in, but i dont invest and wait...

You'll never know for sure if some project succeed or not before it lists on an exchange and start trading with good daily volume. But this risk is fully compensated by succeed projects where you got in during ICO/preICO. So I prefer to take risks and invest in at ICO stage.

Basically, it all depends on where the market is moving at the moment. For example, during the last six months the market fell and all the tokens that appeared on the stock exchanges also began to fall strongly. But now everything must change the other way.

Investing in ICO is more profitable and risky, and buying coins in the market is less risky.
Yes, in most cases it is possible to buy tokens on the exchange after ICO at a price lower than it was on the ICO, but it happens otherwise. If the project is really good and collected on the ICO Hard Cap in a few hours, then the coins of such a project after entering the exchange will not exactly cost cheap and at best they will be purchased at a price several times higher than they were on the ICO. Therefore, there must be a selective approach.

It happens in different ways, but if ICO gives a good bonus, 40-60%, then you can safely take it. Although now almost all the coins are falling in price when they appear in the exchangers.
