I believe that it is better to continue to hold some good coins, which in fact have already confirmed their potential and huge benefits for digital society. Although each person adheres to his investment strategy, but personally I prefer to work with only a few altcoins from among the top-20.

One of the good strategies imho is to hold many different coins and wait for the bull market. When it comes some of these coins will get pumped. One should fix this pumped coins and move money to other coins that have not grown yet. You can get more profit this way)

The more the better, you never know which one will bring the maximum profit. You need to be able to work a lot to collect enough, but in 2018 it is very hard to do. Someone is collecting a lot of money, and someone is marking time.

In what perspective you have been saying so? If it is in view of earning money, it is enough to have a good coin that would make you riches if it is promising and good. For example, bitcoin see its prices rising to as much as approximately $ 20,000 from a meager as low as $0.01 just within nine years. Likewise, if you had invested in ethereum just when it was $0.1, how much you would earn? What I am trying to tell that it is not the number of coins, it is just a matter of good and promising coins.

I find it better to work with a small amount of altcoins. At the same time, you need to work only with reliable coins, in which potential you really believe, and not just rely on luck. It is hardly possible to conduct a full study of many coins at once. Therefore, I work with only a few altcoins.

It is good to diversify your portfolio, but not too much, and definitely not by buying altcoins that you are not sure of just for the sake of diversifying. By diversifying I mean at around 10 altcoins. I don't think more than that makes too much sense.

Based on my experience it is better to have only a few altcoins but with large amount, because if you have many altcoins it will be difficult to control it. Besides, the altcoin price are more fluctuates and has high level of volatility than bitcoin, so that when the market is declining like now you will get bigger losses.

I know that there are many kinds of alternative coins existing today, but is it better to have that many coins instead of having just a few? What are the benefits and harm in having that many alternative coins?

Both options can have it's advantages and disadvantages. But from my own personal experience, I would choose few altcoins now over having many of them. I couldn't keep track of my holdings with many altcoins and it burned me.

In my own suggestions, it is better to have many altcoins so that people have the choices of where they can invest their funds and guarantee that they can gain profits from those altcoin/s where they invested. It is also better to have many of it so that there will be other unique projects that will exist that focus on other social aspects unlike those already existing.

The more coins in your portfolio, the harder you will manage them. I prefer to keep no more than 10 coins in each portfolio. Keep in mind that there is almost no difference what projects from the top 100 you choose, they will all grow in price equally during growth, and equally fall during a recession.

The benefit of having many coins is that one of them can make good money for you. The bad thing is that many of them will disappear. I suggest you collect your investment in the projects you believe in

At the moment, I am trying to buy a lot of altcoins, because of such low prices. I do not believe that IOTA would ever cost 0,27 cents again after the next big bull run. It is time to buy and to hold you crypto guys.

For me personally, it is better to have a few coins that are of high value and have growth prospects than many coins that have dubious development prospects and no plan for improving the product.

Many will tell you diversification is a must and do not have all your eggs in one basket,
but when the market is crashing the most secure is BTC or to short your coins in Fiat or USDT or some other stable coins.

It dose not matter how many altcoins you acquire into your portfolio what really matters is the credibility of the coin or token in your wallet if they are all promising project than you accumulate as much as you can.

I personally like having a few coins. Having too many coins, including those whose future you are not sure about is a stupidity. Also i would like to add that if we go with only the top coin , that is also very risky. Because in that case you never know when it may fall. So my choice is holding few best coins .

If you are doing bounty campaigns, signature campaigns or airdrops, every project will pay you back different tokens and coins. But because you are not aware about the future of the coin or token so it is better to convert them into stable coins. Having too many and having a single coin both are dangerous. Opt some good coins and hold them.

There is no point in having a lot of altcoins, if most of them are shitcoins. It would be better to have a reasonable amount of coins with genuine products, as it will be good for investors.
