Totally agree, the price of BTC and the alts should move in an opposite direction. The way all the crypto market has been moving in the same direction dictated by the Bitcoin has been really unhealthy in my opinion, but we're starting to see the trend we saw last year I think, with the decoupling of the alts and the BTC. I think it's good to invest in ETH too, at least I'm not selling at this point.

For those altcoin holders and this is not the not selling moment. Bitcoin has been getting a big traction due to the ETF hype and it could be ended in the september. To buy ethereum is too risky consider there is a lot of possibility for bitcoin to increase again in the future maybe next week. To hold our money in the stable form will be more preferable rather than putting them all into the altcoin right now.

They accepted the ETH for funding because their Token was developed on ETH's smart contract. And BTC is the coin that determines the price of all altcoin including ETH. I think you got confused
