Can we as humans ever stop telling lies?
every human being who is still alive will continue to always lie, and that cannot be stopped by anything.
because there are 2 definitions of lying, namely,

1. lying for a crime
2. lie for good

lying for one's crime will continue to lie to others for personal gain and will be done every now and then as if it had become a habit. and in the field of cryptocurrencies there must also be someone who always lies for the sake of profit

and lying for good is so much better. because someone lies with reasons for the sake of goodness like, people lie to hide something that harms themselves.

So the conclusion is that it doesn't matter to lie. the most important thing is not for crime

Can we as humans ever stop telling lies?

The answer is no, as long as the human can still speak. Lies have been a part of our daily lives, which is not good; we usually lie when we are scared, hurt, or have a selfish desire to bring down others. The only problem with telling lies is that the people who tell them don't get intimidated or have second thoughts about saying them afterward. As for myself, I tell lies, but later on, I will tell the truth since I can take it. The current generation is much worse; they lie for their own good and will even lie to their parents.

Lies will be covered up with other lies.
deception is the deliberate manipulation of information, behavior and images with the aim of leading others to conclusions or beliefs that are not true. lying is a trait and almost every human being has ever done it, either for good or for misuse with a specific purpose. lying has become a part of human daily life, and it can be said that generally a person lies only in certain situations. however, basically lies have become an inherent part of human life that cannot be avoided. someday we will also do it, either for good or for personal gain.
Correct people lie all the time to clear their bads and destroy their own image -  i don't like people who lie all the time
I don't even make friends with the lier to be friend you have to speak the truth otherwise - I back off

Lying is something that has been there even before we were born,so since it has been there is like part of we human, dishonesty is also what makes us human.

Our capacity for dishonesty is as fundamental to us as our need to even trust ourselves, which ironically makes us terrible at detecting lies. Being deceitful is woven into our very own fabric so much that it would be truthful to say that to lie is human.

Sometimes people just lies they want achieve something else because theirs no lies that doesn't have it reason of lying to someone, but lie's is not part of human, it can be part of human when it's desperate of achieving what it desire, so that is why i dispute the fact that lies is not generally meant for human

We often talk what we think is right, but we miss a little at times, and so speak what is not truth.
If we think it then, it could be true. Lies can either be intentional or not or perhaps because we've forgotten or chose not to be a part of such and reject it completely but, that doesn't justify the act to be right. It's wrong but, an undeniable part of human nature and the next we know, we are already committing the act.
Is it really possible for humans to live without telling a lie every now and then, I supposedly not and so it's one of those things we are forced to live with but, we don't have to be selfish about it though. It shouldn't come at a greater cost of some else's expense but in all, we have to realise the truth will surely come out at some point.

There are decent and transperant people who still exist without being indulge in lying or being compromised in any activities they are being found. Most at times they lies because they want to meets up with their target for instance, at work place or as a workman who have lot of activities on their hands. Few days ago I called a plumber to come help and get my tap fixed which I already paid him for the task his to do but I noticed he weren't sincere to inform of not coming at the same day because he had other jobs at hands. This can be lie and also a deliberate and intentional acts.

Is lying now part of our nature? You say the word "now" as if its a trait humans just picked up and decided to try out. Lying has been there. Allow me use the word 'inherent'.
A simple question for you, op. If you asked to tell a fib to save a loved one from being hurt, would you or would you not?

The thing is, as humans we do not want to make lying a habit but we can't help these things. Lolz, I'm not defending the action but even in biblical times, Abraham had to lie to save his wife Sarah from being taken.

You have the right idea. But regarding Abram (before he was named Abraham by God), he lied to save himself. Of course, he didn't have to, because God was protecting him. But he was weak, as we all are. We often talk what we think is right, but we miss a little at times, and so speak what is not truth.

you can, as long as you really mean it. I honestly think it's very important. but, if lying for the sake of the truth, I don't think it would be a problem.

for example, someone who is about to be killed. and the person to be killed is hiding somewhere without the killer knowing. we know where it's hiding. but maybe, when asked by the killer, do we see the person to be killed or not? we have to lie and say we don't know.

Can we as humans ever stop telling lies?

People can never stop lying because they will always wanted to satisfy their selfish desires at any cost, lies has been what is now common to an extent that people have assumed lying as a lifestyle or a means to display their interest towards achieving a particular thing and they no longer see lies as something bar anymore but a smart way against another, also this digital world of technology has also help the increase in the rate people lie because no one can verify them from what they do or say using the internet or phones.

I guess...yes, lying is part of human nature, as always. Whatever the topics are, we have to remember that humans are prime animals as well. How to survive has never been wiped from our genes. Lying in most time is bad, because we don't necessarily have to lie to protect us. And sometimes, we lie just because we have to tell some white lies in order to let others feel better or avoid harms. Lying is not necessarily bad and taking it as part of human nature is acceptable.

People tell alie nowadays like that is their truth like they are literally that much into lies, no resentment, no regret just justifying their lies. Thinking their lies as harmless and for someone's benefit but keep one thing in mind lies are never harmless, one lie leads to another lie and so on .

Telling a fib today is considered harmless and most people seem to lie so quickly and are very good at it too. We all know lying isn't good anyway it's being looked at but we all indulge in it and very frequently too. And today, it is considered harmless and a little white lie; almost innocent lol.
Can we as humans ever stop telling lies?

I believe that any lie that was told to save anyone's life is more significant and valuable than the truth, which can lead to putting a person's life in danger. However, it's undoubtedly not a good practice to lie and make it your permanent habit.

Is now in every human nature to lie easily without feeling guilty just to cover up tracks. Everyone now thinks that lying is a normal way of life and sincerity doesn't pay if you choose to be.

I wonder what cultivates this kind of culture of lying in us cos we do know that lies can destroy trust and friends between friends but we choose it over truth without minding the repercussions

Can we as humans ever stop telling lies?

Lying has been there in human origin, even from the garden of Eden, which the holy bible stated and as a result lying wouldn't be easy to comb.
Lying to o me can be classified into two:

Necessary lying: this very aspect of lying has to do with saving a situation at cost of lying and I've always tolerated this very one especially in relationships. And this kind of lies are mostly told when things are not deliberately done just to safe the situation and calm the atmosphere

Unnecessary lying: this very one is just a perpetual form of lying jus for the sake of not telling a truth or wanting someone get involved in something.
And this type of lie is done consciously and without remorse. I frown so much at this very type of lies at all time .

N/B. I'm not saying lying is good but I feel most times it is necessary to lie as human nature is highly unpredictable.

Yes I agree with your point sometime people tell lies to save a situation or to keep someone's heart and save them from getting hurt ,that type is harmless and causes no one any danger . But some people are fond of or in habit of telling unnecessary lies and that also can cause damage to someone .
But whatsoever the reason is telling lies should not be part of your nature and routine, if it's needed to tell lies it's better to remain silent.

There is no 'Now a part of" about it. Lying has ALWAYS been part of the Human Psyche.
Certainly not an admirable one and certainly something to be discouraged but nonetheless it has always been there and no doubt always will be.

It's often found in the behavior of small children. They quickly learn to lie, even when their parents aren't lying to them.
-Who ate the chocolate?
-I don't know, mom?
-Did you?
-No!
-Tell the truth!
This is a conversation we come across in every single household at some point.

But it gets interesting. My mother had a stroke and it damaged her brain to the point that she reverted back to her early instincts. She would deny taking or eating something, even if she was holding it in her hand at that moment. She would also become extremely possessive and gluttonous, like a child.
I feel like these instincts are buried deep in our brains but in time we learn to suppress them.

It's sad reality but yes lying is part of human nature now ,people are habitual of telling lies in their daily life. Although it is a difficult way to deal with things as you can yourself forget your lies after sometime.  Telling truth might be difficult at start but it's better than 100 lies.
