Telling a fib today is considered harmless and most people seem to lie so quickly and are very good at it too. We all know lying isn't good anyway it's being looked at but we all indulge in it and very frequently too. And today, it is considered harmless and a little white lie; almost innocent lol.
Can we as humans ever stop telling lies?
every individual have its own life to live so I believe that whoever that is using line it is based on the kind of life you choose to live with because we Own condemns the attitude the action of line the art of being a liar so I believe that if we acknowledge lies it will become generally accepted in any country that is why nobody embrace lies

Lying had always been part of human nature since creation, to begin with. It is just so bad the way it has creeped into every facets of civilization. Even most careers require one to tell lies inorder to be seen as a team player or tell lies to get promoted.
Infact if you tell the truth too often, people get to maim you, call you a pastor or preacher, exempt you from certain occasions and even call you feeble or weak.
It is just the way society has normalized lying that makes it look cool, else it is one way to become delinquent fast.

If lies can be the outcome of an election result and upon which power position is attained, tell me where else and how else lies cannot thrive?
Unfortunately yes lying has become our nature and we can't help it ,its too common that people don't consider it as a mistake now .
But trust me lying leads you to nowhere you have to face the reality and truth at some point of time and you cant run away from that.

Lying is something we humans can't do without, we live in a society where saying is truth is more risky than lies, we live in a society where even the truth can't set us free again, so we have no other option than lying.
I can't attest to say I have seen anybody who don't tell lies, some people lie in business, politics, marriage, etc. Because it's seen that if you truth is told, you might not gain in business, or might not win in politics or might loose your marriage...
That's my say though

Lying & deceit has probably always been part of human nature. Even since early man there was probably deceit & theft of food or mate etc.

Humans follow laws but many have no moral compass. Nothing that human beings are capable of is off limits really. There are many bad people in the world sadly.

Lying is part of human nature but there are people that do it out of proportion. I have heard a real life experience of this and I was so much surprised.
I cannot say I don't lie, but if I tell lies I rarely do it and maybe I do it only when it's necessary. Either to save someone or to gain escape punishment, such as lies to your manager or lecturer for missing at work or in examination respectively.

But then I have lives with someone who tells 90% lies in everyday life. This dude tells lies and uses lies to cover lies and unfortunately it has become part of him that he cannot be able to say the truth anymore.

Maybe you have forgotten that the truth is bitter and lies is sweet in the mouth. Some people can not stop lying because the live by it. There are even people the lie to make money especially those government officials giving us that wrong estimate whereas they have hidden agenda to syphon money from the government purse. Things are really happening and it can never stop unless tye world ends. Politicians are the one that lie most because they always do that to embezzle money from the government account since they are the one in power to make decisions.

I think everyone must have lied at some point in their life. But never lie to hurt or lie about other people's mistakes.

Lying seems permissible if it's for the good. But never lie just for the sake of evil.

Can we as humans ever stop telling lies?

The answer is no, as long as the human can still speak. Lies have been a part of our daily lives, which is not good; we usually lie when we are scared, hurt, or have a selfish desire to bring down others. The only problem with telling lies is that the people who tell them don't get intimidated or have second thoughts about saying them afterward. As for myself, I tell lies, but later on, I will tell the truth since I can take it. The current generation is much worse; they lie for their own good and will even lie to their parents.
very right - 8/10 people are most liar. PEople lie all the time to save their face even on for the petty things - and this has made the world a terrible place.

Lying is something you can't control, no one can fully understand what's on your mind, no matter what the purpose of lying, most people will lie, but a lie needs many lies to cover it up.

Lying has become the norm, and it may be a lie casually, but some lies are well-intentioned, which can resolve many problems, but may reduce people's trust in you, and white lies are acceptable.

Can we as humans ever stop telling lies?
every human being who is still alive will continue to always lie, and that cannot be stopped by anything.
because there are 2 definitions of lying, namely,

1. lying for a crime
2. lie for good

lying for one's crime will continue to lie to others for personal gain and will be done every now and then as if it had become a habit. and in the field of cryptocurrencies there must also be someone who always lies for the sake of profit

and lying for good is so much better. because someone lies with reasons for the sake of goodness like, people lie to hide something that harms themselves.

So the conclusion is that it doesn't matter to lie. the most important thing is not for crime

Lies will be covered up with other lies.
deception is the deliberate manipulation of information, behavior and images with the aim of leading others to conclusions or beliefs that are not true. lying is a trait and almost every human being has ever done it, either for good or for misuse with a specific purpose. lying has become a part of human daily life, and it can be said that generally a person lies only in certain situations. however, basically lies have become an inherent part of human life that cannot be avoided. someday we will also do it, either for good or for personal gain.
Correct people lie all the time to clear their bads and destroy their own image -  i don't like people who lie all the time
I don't even make friends with the lier to be friend you have to speak the truth otherwise - I back off

Lying is something that has been there even before we were born,so since it has been there is like part of we human, dishonesty is also what makes us human.

Our capacity for dishonesty is as fundamental to us as our need to even trust ourselves, which ironically makes us terrible at detecting lies. Being deceitful is woven into our very own fabric so much that it would be truthful to say that to lie is human.

Sometimes people just lies they want achieve something else because theirs no lies that doesn't have it reason of lying to someone, but lie's is not part of human, it can be part of human when it's desperate of achieving what it desire, so that is why i dispute the fact that lies is not generally meant for human

We often talk what we think is right, but we miss a little at times, and so speak what is not truth.
If we think it then, it could be true. Lies can either be intentional or not or perhaps because we've forgotten or chose not to be a part of such and reject it completely but, that doesn't justify the act to be right. It's wrong but, an undeniable part of human nature and the next we know, we are already committing the act.
Is it really possible for humans to live without telling a lie every now and then, I supposedly not and so it's one of those things we are forced to live with but, we don't have to be selfish about it though. It shouldn't come at a greater cost of some else's expense but in all, we have to realise the truth will surely come out at some point.

There are decent and transperant people who still exist without being indulge in lying or being compromised in any activities they are being found. Most at times they lies because they want to meets up with their target for instance, at work place or as a workman who have lot of activities on their hands. Few days ago I called a plumber to come help and get my tap fixed which I already paid him for the task his to do but I noticed he weren't sincere to inform of not coming at the same day because he had other jobs at hands. This can be lie and also a deliberate and intentional acts.

Is lying now part of our nature? You say the word "now" as if its a trait humans just picked up and decided to try out. Lying has been there. Allow me use the word 'inherent'.
A simple question for you, op. If you asked to tell a fib to save a loved one from being hurt, would you or would you not?

The thing is, as humans we do not want to make lying a habit but we can't help these things. Lolz, I'm not defending the action but even in biblical times, Abraham had to lie to save his wife Sarah from being taken.

You have the right idea. But regarding Abram (before he was named Abraham by God), he lied to save himself. Of course, he didn't have to, because God was protecting him. But he was weak, as we all are. We often talk what we think is right, but we miss a little at times, and so speak what is not truth.
