Do you think that master degree is important? I see that many companies nowadays ask for a master degree but still I know many people who had a job without it. Do you think it is essential?

I think it depends on where you want to work. If you want to work international, a Master Degree is mostly the only Way to get a job. Like you finished University in Germany, your Bachelor is not accepted in US. But a Master is accepted all over the World.

It depense wich college you attend. And depece wich system you studying, is it bachelor,or some other system. I studying Menager college with bachelor system, thaht means 3 basic years + 1 year specialization. And I must finsh all 4 years if I want to get job somewhere. That 4 years are required. But if I want more knowledge,I can check in for master degree. Master degree for my college lasting 2 years. And when I get master degree, I can provide myself better position in firm where I work.

A master's degree is important because it involves moving a step further into the realm of higher learning to enable you to be considered a true professional. To attain a primary (bachelor's) degree is a great achievement in itself and nothing to be sneered at, but to go on from there and achieve a master's degree shows a higher, more involved level of knowledge. Today a master's degree enables applicants to better compete in the workplace. Whereas in the past, a bachelor's degree would secure a job for life with great pay and even if you go to other countries if they see these they will hired you immediately...

It's a very good leverage and a great credential a master degree is specially if you're aiming for good rank in a company you're applying for. A master's degree is also given to a person who actually 'mastered' a certain program. This gives the company the confidence that the person they will be employing actually knows what he/she is doing.

Master's degree is important if you really want to pursue learning more in a specific field as there are advanced learnings that will only be taught during a master's class.

Of course it is. Just think of all those teachers and professors who would be out of a job if nobody wanted a master's degree.

Cool

Why the tax money should be wasted on these teachers and professors, if the educational degrees are of no use? The education syllabus has remained outdated and it has failed to adjust with the changing market demands. And even more perplexing is the case of students who opt for arts subjects after perfectly knowing that they are having no demand in the job market.

Depends on what you want to achieve. There are jobs that requires a Master's degree. If you want a job, then it requires a higher degree, then Master's degree is very important for you to qualify. Anyway, taking Master's degree is not an expense but an investment to yourself.

Yes master degree is very important in todays world where ideas are directly correlate to the amount of cash or prestige in your work place. Getting masters degree open a lot of opportunities and ideas for you to enhance your career field.

Earlier, the masters degree used to carry a lot of prestige all around the world. But the times have changed now. Nowadays, the demand in the job markets is for skills such as knowledge of programming languages and enterprise software. I would say that the emergence of the IT sector has reduced the importance of educational degrees.

Sometimes even bachelor degree isn't important if you have suitable skills for your job. However if you want to be a scientist or continue your researches in the field of your interest - master degree is a must.
master degree is important to some people  because they want to advance to their career ,expand more their knowledge and gain a higher salary. But for me,having a bachelor degree is already enough for me as long as I have a stable work and good campany that hires me with a high salary.

Sadly nowadays companies looking for a piece of a document instead of talent and skills, if you have a degree doesn't matter you are a skilled person or not, the education system has changed, now anyone can get a degree if you have the money.

Yes. I think that the master degree is very important if we have one. Because with our bachelors degree we don't have a professional qualifications. If we wanna be a professional, then we must have to have a masters degree. It is up to you to have personal qualifications. But it is only known by your self only. To show that you are capable of doing something, you should have a certificate of it. It is masters degree. So, whether you like it or not, you have to have a masters degree to perform well in industry.
