For me, Yes it is important, having a masters degree can help you find better job, more chances of promotion. Just like here in our country, we can be a proffesor in college only if we are a masters degree holder. Another example is that, if we are a Teacher I, we can not be promoted as Teacher II, III and so on and so fort if we are not a masters degree holder.
 Higher Education means higher opportunity.

Yes, it is very important. A master's degree is often necessary to secure a profession and advance within some fields. Many careers that require master's degrees are typically found in sectors such as research and academia. Professionals with a master's degree often benefit from higher pay and increased job responsibilities. Due to increased stiff competition among potential employees and the global economic crisis, job searching has become an uphill task for many people during recent years. Studies have shown that people are tirelessly equipping themselves with the necessary skills to get them a lucrative job and keep them there. In the past, having a bachelor’s degree was enough. However, there has been an increase in demand for master’s graduates. This has dampened the hope of many undergraduates and even some degree holders of finding a good job.

In many places it isn't essential. But if you want a higher paycheck than I would advice to get one as companies want to recruit people who are more experienced in the field. Personally I would highly recommend getting one.

In my field, experience matters more than a master degree. The problem with masters degree (if you are doing it full time) is that it will cost you at least two years of your experience. In short, you need to put in a lot of time and effort and in the end you will have to contend with a reduced salary.

Do you think that master degree is important? I see that many companies nowadays ask for a master degree but still I know many people who had a job without it. Do you think it is essential?

It is important because of the master degree that you got you won't easily get stepped by other people , because you have the degree , and it's is essential , to have more opportunities to come . It's your background and your best weapon that you've got. And you won't get easily bullied or what ever they won't judge you , instead you do nothing you fight cause you have a degree to proved.

Every company judges a person through education and the title for selection, my personal experience that the title is only for the beginning. Next is a mental attitude and determine you.

I don't really need it but it's going to help you a lot when applying to a high position. I think it's only important for wealthy families that forces their children to have an exceptional background.

Master degree is not necessarily important but it is always good to see a person has put effort to study and get high education. I would say in traditional corporations management is always requiring master degrees in case an employee has an ambition and wants to be in managerial positions. on the other hand, there are so many successful people, entrepreneurs who do not even have any single certificate or degree, they are just talented, enthusiastic born with internal intellect.

Is master degree important or not it's totally depends on your mind. If you want to achieve this degree or don't want to achieve this degree nothing will happens to others. if we achieve master degree I am quite sure that it will help you in future. From this perspective master degree is important.

I have a master's degree(business administration) and it did actually help me understand some concepts more deeply. And yes, education is always a valuable asset as far as you care about the knowledge and not just for the diploma.

Master’s graduates are always relevant in their field. They are always at par with the required level of education and prowess. Any employer would want to have the very best and pay the best to aid the growth of the company.

I think it is a good advantage, but I don't think it is a necessity. Benefits could be higher pay and also a higher position in the company.
