yes. A ready made product is important for any ICO project.

It does show that the dev team is serious and really dedicated to making the project work.

But more importantly is to prove that the product has a demand.. no point making a product which no one wants.

It is important to prove the business case.. ie a product that is needed or a service that fulfils a gap.

Well it is 50/50. Depends what kind of product you have, I am more inclined to an idea of the idea of a project. If you have an amazing idea of the project and make a perfect business plan for your audience\investors and you have a green light from them, then it is much more easier to present and receive investments from investors, as you got believed in your idea and your product will work. Whereas if you have a product, you shouldn't be looking for investors, as you are half way through on making a success or fail, that means that you failed with your product as no one is interested in and you can't sell it, you have no clients and your product is bad! So having a product is not definitely a success

Usually, most investors look for ICOs or projects that already has a good working product before investing. A working product means that only further development is the only thing needed to entice investors. Only further development is needed in such coins and active marketing strategy.

So native adv you've tried to make, but anyway, product is the most important thing for project, even more than marketing and team. A huge part of ICOs today does't have any ready product and people invest only in idea, this is risky way.

I agree. I think a project with a product has better chances of prospering than those that are only imitations of older concepts or products because people tend to support new ideas than old ones. That is crucial because there are so many projects coming out seemingly every second of the day, and if you won't find good ones, then you can be certain that your investment would just go down the drain because either it won't receive enough support or it will be a total failure.
