Yes! Any self respecting currency would be.
Certainly, and you do know for a fact that it is being used heavily in smuggling, theft and other illegal and shady activities--in some cases, the government themselves partake in. Also, illegal activities and whatnot aren't constrained to just USD; even btc is being used for these illegal activities too.

That is the sad reality that all forms of government must face and accept. There are no government that is existing in this world that is not corrupt. Corruption is rooted in the society and even exists in the family. Illegal activities cannot be also stopped since the runners are government officials and other government personnel who are high in ranks down to the lower ranks. As long as there is evil in society all forms of fiat currency including US dollar is prone to be used in illegal activities.

to me i think not only USD but every currency of the world may be use for illegal activities. so we can say that some criminal people will be using bitcoin for illegla activities. but i think there is no fault of any currency.

Yes, every currency is being used for the evil, that is why I think dishonest media should stop saying bad things about Bitcoin. Bitcoin isn't the currency of thieves, it's just a currency used for every kind of things like dollar or any other. Very true and it is not today tgat people started using the US dollars for illegalities. It's been existing but since the blockchain technology was introduced I think the American government is getting concerned about the possibility of bad people using Bitcoin/USD to perpetuate illegality. As we all know that USD is one of the major currency on the world which means it is really important and value is high compared on most currencies which is on commonsense thing that they are definitely used on illegal activities since we do know usd is money and does have value which means anything you can do anything about it either legal or illegal.
USD is used for illegal activities of course man, what do you think ? They pay their drugs or prostitutes with a candy ? Remember USD is the most used currency internationnaly to buy/trade anything. When they are dealing, thy don't talk about the price using the Zimbabwe currency !

It's definitely wrong ffs, USD is far more untraceable than bitcoin which have blockchain and every outgoing transaction was recorded and there's no way to delete this. The USD itself ain't got GPS to detect and there's no way to control it directly. Bitcoin itself doesn't trigger criminality because of its pseudo-anonymous feature but the criminality itself take advantage of bitcoin instead of other currency. Even if bitcoin doesn't exist, I'm sure the criminalities still exist. while bitcoin is more risky because it is anonymouse so many people who use it for illegal actions.
Actually, all currency in the whole word can be use in in any illegal activities of each country. That's other country are giving any restriction about creating a law about it, not USD only..
Euro is more suitable than USD for illegal activities. Since there are 500euro papers which hold a lotmore value than 100$. To answer your question, of course it is being used for illegal activities. It doesn't make USD guilty. USD is the most common currency around the world, thw most liquid... That's why terrorists choose USD over everything else.
It's true. Here a 500€ papers can be exchanged for 520€ in street and we don't have problem to find someone to exchange. It's more convenient for the criminals, they find several advantages with it. For exemple it's more easy to transport 100k€ with 500€ than with 10-20-50€. But not easy to get one 500€ paper, we have to fill paper at the bank and wait like a week to get it. The truth is you look really suspicious asking for a 500€ paper. And so far i have never see any, only 100 and 200€ and they are also rare to see
