Lol, I don't know what is the relation of bitcoin being used in illegal activities with USD being used to illegal activities. As far as I know they are different currency though we believe that all currency are used in illegal activity, even my local currency is being used in drug trafficking, gun smuggling and money laundering, so I think USD is more exploited in terms of illegal activities.

I think all of fiat and crypto's can be used on illegal activities I mean it doesn't matter what type of money you are using as long as it can pay what they want to buy or the things that they need,
then they will surely use it I mean specially this bitcoin cause of it's anonymity

Yes, you could say that it is being used for such actions, however since the appearance of bitcoin every one wants to use because they are less likely to get traceable because it is pseudo anonymous, before they used USD and the regulations can track them down if they do use a lot of susceptible incomes, and now with bitcoin it is hard.

I agree, currencies have been used to fuel illegal activities and even war. the government created currencies to be used by everyone and use it as a trading tool but the cons. of it came after that. I think bitcoin is already have been used in many illegal transactions, just think of the features that bitcoins offers, don't you think those features doesn`t attract criminals?. I'm sorry to say but bitcoin is already a part of illegal trade industry, which is sad!.

Yes, I really like what you say that currency is basically a tool and don't have an intelligence. That is true, for what that currency will be used quite dependent on the person using it. So we can not fault currency if it is used for illegal activities. Spreading USD high and become a benchmark currency worldwide makes the USD vulnerable be used for illegal activities. It's don't much different from the bitcoin that could be used for illegal and legal activities.

Common sense tells us that syndicates and criminals does illegal activities so they can earn money. Well that money is of course the fiat currency we are using right now. In the united states of America if you are watching movies you will see how US dollars are being used to buy weapons, drugs, pay the mercenaries and everything. If you have lots of US dollars aside from purchasing or doing trades in the black market you can also watch porn online and offline.

But please take note that the government prohibits the use of US dollars in any form of malicious and illegal activities. If you can use your money in a legal and moral way then it is the right thing to do.

Yeah this is what I'm thinking also because many people are talking about US' support to the terrorist, I guess this conspiracy is real. Look at those countries where US backed up, Syria, Iraq and other countries where war started. All of them where terrorized by the United States government and that's why their currency is becoming powerful.

USD is a powerful currency and they can do anything with their money, that's already stated before that most terrorist are funded by big countries and since USA is a big country they might be one of those who funded. I do not know what are their reasons but I am pretty sure that is to make their country more powerful. Big countries are hunger for money, what they protect is only their people but not the entire human race.

It's first time in this forum someone opened a thread if fiat money, USD, GBP, Euro does not matter, are used for illegal activities. I believe that all people, maybe only the very young ones they know that fiat money is the most favorable way for criminals to do their transactions. If someone listen media and journalists when they express their opinion about bitcoins the first thing they say is that it's used mainly for illegal activities and some they say that must be banned. I wonder before 2009 where the genesis block mined had ever anyone asked to ban fiat money? I am eager to learn.
