Yes it is very possible that USD can be used for illegal activites, this also happening in the different country. So other nation is was creating a law about this matter, maybe some are giving them a ban once they've found out caught in the act. Even bitcoin can be used for legal and illegal transactions therefore same thing with USD dollar.
to avoid illegal actions I prefer USD. because of the movement and spread of currency USD more secure and controlled.

I see more and more articles of the USD being used for illegal activities, such as funding of terrorists and unconstitutional, illegal wars, funding of wars that cause severe infringement of civil liberties like the war on drugs, among other things. I am pretty sure that when goons smash into convenience stores and steal stuff, then the money they probably steal is USD, which makes it criminal currency. Also, I am pretty sure that the baseball bats that majority of the goons have bought were paid for by the USD.
Also, most people collect rain water, drink raw milk, and throw cannabis seeds in soil, all three acts which are considered serious illegal felonies punishable by seriously expensive fines and extensive jail time, possibly life in prison.
Some people also walk, drive, fish, or hunt without a permit that can easily be bought for in USD.

I think donald trump would not do it, after all, if they did ban on bitcoin. it does not impact too much on bitcoin, because users can still use bitcoin although even prohibited.

How exactly do you think you would go about "seizing" all the bitcoins? The ledger is decentralized, so there is no way to shut it down. Seizing bitcoins would require the confiscation of the hard drives that contain private keys to public addresses. And that also assumes that those hard drives have the only copy of the private keys. In short, there's no easy or feasible way to accomplish bitcoin seizures.
The type of currency is rather irrelevant. Anything that has widespread value can be used to fund illegal activities, and more, should be expected to be doing so. USD, Euro, Yen, btc, gold, diamonds, drugs, etc. The medium is fungible, criminals will be criminals. The currency doesn't make them so.

It seems like there is much work to hide bitcoin transactions and it opens the door for mistakes. It seems that even if the final transaction is mixed, that all the other transactions might be preserved somehow on other accounts. Imagine how many people might have kept a record of their transactions for other purposes along the chain to that final transaction. That's a whole pile of leads there and probably more than one snitch in the group.

Lol, I don't know what is the relation of bitcoin being used in illegal activities with USD being used to illegal activities. As far as I know they are different currency though we believe that all currency are used in illegal activity, even my local currency is being used in drug trafficking, gun smuggling and money laundering, so I think USD is more exploited in terms of illegal activities.
Rather than looking at the percentage of Bitcoins used for illegal purchases to the total number of Bitcoins circulating, you must look at the absolute value of BTC used for drug purchases. I am sure that it is only a small fraction of the same for USD.

Any criminal use any currency which he require for a particular place suppose a person is doing any illegal activity in places where USD is easily used then he will use USD and if he is doing any illegal activity in places where euro is easily used then he will use Euro. So any currency can be used by them unless the governments take action against them.
US dollar is accepted in almost everywhere in this planet, so international crimes and illegal activities can be financed by US dollar. But why would we use US dollar if we are only doing small time illegal activity if we are criminals? I'd rather use local currency if I am a criminal, for convenience.
