USD is the currency for illegal activities because it is the easiest currency to obtain globally and you can spend it any place in the world. for example you may not be able spend Chinese currency in another country but you can always find some place that can change USD and it is accepted everywhere.
Off course are us dollars also used for illegal things lots of peopel owns money and you wont know what the criminals are doing with it and they are using it most of the time for illegal things.
I see more and more articles of the USD being used for illegal activities, such as funding of terrorists and unconstitutional, illegal wars, funding of wars that cause severe infringement of civil liberties like the war on drugs, among other things. I am pretty sure that when goons smash into convenience stores and steal stuff, then the money they probably steal is USD, which makes it criminal currency. Also, I am pretty sure that the baseball bats that majority of the goons have bought were paid for by the USD.
Also, most people collect rain water, drink raw milk, and throw cannabis seeds in soil, all three acts which are considered serious illegal felonies punishable by seriously expensive fines and extensive jail time, possibly life in prison.
Some people also walk, drive, fish, or hunt without a permit that can easily be bought for in USD.
Will this hurt USD in the long run? Will governments ban this just like they started to do with paying in cash for some services to harden the use of illegal activities, and money laundering?
This definitely won't hurt USD. This has been going for years and years and the USD just seems to keep doing better and better. Also, most currencies go through this, so if anything did happen, it would happen to a lot of currencies. Nope.
Because tax avoidance is the best economic growth mechanism! ... And money exists for it being used for illegal activities. Because creating money that cannot be used for illegal activities has no appeal to be owned.
Well the dollar is basically the general currency that we're using so definitely it's what people use for illegal activities most of the time. Although, some are already aware and are using other online currencies, as of now the local currency is what's more widely used

So it is not matter that what currency will they prefer but they will use which they will find easily.
And I think paper money are the easiest currency to use in illegal activities as there are no trail of transactions once you hand it over the money to the transacting party, online transaction can easily be trace and even bitcoin because of the linkages of accounts that will direct to a certain exchange sites.

The type of currency is rather irrelevant. Anything that has widespread value can be used to fund illegal activities, and more, should be expected to be doing so. USD, Euro, Yen, btc, gold, diamonds, drugs, etc. The medium is fungible, criminals will be criminals. The currency doesn't make them so.
If someone found a currencie that isnt being used for ilegal activities let me know, fiat, crypto, online, real life, the same way we can choose between act right or wrong the fiat has those two faces, and there is no way to stop it, countries try to control it without sucess, those people are strong and build their business that way.
US dollar is accepted world wide in every trade possible be it legal or illegal ,i have seen some comments regarding euro being more valued than dollar and so it is used for illegal activity if that is the case they could use Bahraini Dinar as it is the most valuable currency in the world,the problem is you cannot deal with bahraini dinar world wide as easily as the american dollar.
you are right, it is actually accepted nearly everywhere, especially in the illegal things in my opinion

Almost every currency is being used for illegal activities world wide. The benefits of using a currency is not solely dependent for what purpose it is being used. People do use USD for their transactions, they want to do. Not just because of easiness of using USD but they are using it for the need of having some currency. Same thing is applicable for bitcoin too.USD is if I am not wrong the currency that is most used in criminal activities. Even criminals in europe and asia use the dollar in their criminal activities. F.e. if they sell drugs item they want payment in USD. There is no currency in the world which has so many transaction with the US dollar.

All the fiat currencies and even crypto ones like Bitcoins and Monero get used for such illegal activities like selling drugs, black hat methods, carding. etc. and yes it will definitely ruin it for them in the longer run...

Anything that can be used as payment option can be used for illegal activities whether it's fiat currency like USD, EUR, CAD, CHF or any other currency or digital currency like bitcoin. People will find ways to acquire what they wanted and will use whatever means to get it. Some also use commodities like gold to pay for those things.

Yes and it have been used since when? Different presidentshave come and go and yet this sickness have not been cured. If the government is also the one providing for the illegal activities then hell it wont stop.

I don't where you got that? I would guess that for every dollar worth of bitcoin used in an illegal activity a million U.S. dollars are spent illegally.
