therefore let s do the point of the situation in the last medical tests before the resumption of training 6 new positive players have appeared plus a recidivist but the question is why these analyzes were not done before and all those who came into contact with them should not be quarantined? like the other players, staff? and then they can really resume the championship in these conditions? Wouldn't it be better to put it off?
I think every player who returns will definitely do a medical test according to their rules because some players are from outside so it is very important that the medical test, but I want to know which of the 6 players I have positive from covid-19 are there any sources? because what I see now many players return to normal without being infected.

If the match is postponed without a championship then I am sure there will be a lot of polemics especially if it reaches the end of the season and of course if it continues, of course there will be many losses.

The problems are not for healthy guys but for the elderly who live around healthy guys who can spread the virus and indirectly kill the elderly. Because of low death risks on healthy guys they tend to be less carefully and in turn put more risks on the elderly.

Regular testing & all games behind closed doors will lower risks. People are going to get the virus & people are going to die no matter what we do. The virus isn’t going away, a vaccine will take years. The world needs to start again, only a tiny minority of people die so sadly we need to accept some collateral damage.

3 players from Fiorentina have been found positive.
They are all asymptomatic but positive.
3 players and 3 other members of the Fiorentina staff have been tested positive. That is not all.
4 players from Sampdoria are now positive as well. I believe this trend will continue and we will see more teams release the same info.

I just find it weird that this was not known before, like they did at Juventus. They tested everyone regularly and we knew what was going on.

@Pmalek this is simply unacceptable as they’re putting the entire Italian League at risk by not conducting proper testing of their players, and I hope that other clubs are strictly testing their players, and immediately separating those players who are testing positive for this virus. It’s pertinent to note that the clubs will yet be allowed to train from 18th May despite these new cases, however the government may be forced to cancel the league if too many player’s suddenly test positive for this virus.

Not your keys, not your coins!
3 players from Fiorentina have been found positive.
They are all asymptomatic but positive.

This is normal, they are testing everyone and they will find more and more.

On large scale experts her in Italy are saying that only 20% of the population have symptoms.
The majority is positive without symptoms.

This is why they have found 10 in Germany and they will find more everywhere else when they will test everyone.

Also these positive have been infected probably during the lockdown in the past month.
There is another risks that recovered people can be get positive tests later. Not only about false negative tests before but there are some cases like that and if tests are considered as true positive, there are more risks from recovered people.
Players who test positive will just be sent home & told to stay away from the squad for a couple of weeks. It’s like any normal sickness rule, they get taken away from the healthy players. This whole pandemic is bull shit imo, young, healthy people are mostly fine.

Let’s get some normality back ASAP.

Another little setback for the restart of Serie A. A Torino player was tested positive when the team returned to restart training. He was immediately placed in quarantine. The club is still keeping it secret which player was tested positive. Maybe other members know a bit more about the situation?

https://www.theguardian.com/football/2020/may/06/torino-player-tests-positive-for-covid-19-before-sides-return-to-training

No, they kept him as a secret  Roll Eyes.
Anyway, this is normal, by the law of numbers cases will happen the risk 0  is not existing.

Today they got a potential meeting to have a date for the restart, nothing happened.
They probably want to wait 2 more weeks before the call to see how the phase 2 is going.

You can't just expect Italy to get back on games like Germany right away. I mean they lived through different stages, Germany had only 7k deaths and that is a sad thing to say, only 7k is not something I would like to say about death but that is true, Germany only had 7k death while they had 170k people who tested positive, so we all know they are capable of recovering anyone who gets it and their healthcare industry is actually quite good for it.

Whereas on Italy people died like flies, there was 30k people dead from 214k people who were infected which means it is not really doing that well, for a while there was almost a thousand people dying (was it around 700-800?) every day. So of course Germany comes back to league a lot quicker while it may take a bit longer for Italy.
Deaths in Italy are indeed significant and the mortality rate there is quite high but I think the government can handle it in this case even though the medical center is also exhausted in treating it but I am sure for Italian football will start in June because there are already several teams that have that training means that the situation in football is under tight security so that implementation can take place next month.

I don't expect so much to just want Serie A to walk again after a lot of news about football starting in Italy.

Ouch! This hurts Undecided
Luckily this will not have a big impact on resuming Serie A, but if it appears that other players are/will be infected especially after resuming collective training or games then this could be the end of this season...

Meanwhile in Germany they decided to start again the championship on May 15th, here in Italy there is still nothing certain, perhaps only the fact that from May 18th the teams can resume group training, good news Dybala is finally healed after he was positive about a month and a half

Smart is not enough, there must be skills
-snip-
Looks interesting juventus players have started to do the exercises by themselves it seems they are in the current state and feel like it wants to start immediately.  Grin

Whatever the decision from Germany I think it would be the best way if Serie A copying from there for them is not a problem.

Juventus have started to show their training what about other clubs?

It is far to be over but it is nice to see a tentative for a restart.

Today some players have solo trained.

The season can still be delayed or finished.

Imo Serie A is waiting Germany's final decision.

We all know Germany is the leader of Europe and others will copy them.

yeah, you can do that for the audience, but how to play football and have 20 meter distance between players, would be some new football i think Smiley
nevertheless, do not expect that football will be played with audience this year in Italy, and no matter cases existed in December in France, it was just a few, maybe irrelevant to sport (people that do not visit stadiums), what happened in Bergamo on Atalanta - Valencia proved that it is important to keep stadiums empty for a while

For my soccer match there is no distance because it will be difficult unless the audience and staff do that, the rules will now be new which is done very strictly for people who are in the stadium.

No need to watch directly as fanatics we still have tv to see live broadcasts wherever you are.
Stadium is now resting.

Yes teams started training group of ~6 players with ~20m distance between each player for some teams, but full group training, which is important, will not be possible before 18 May. Overall it is good as a start and hopefully by June resuming games will be possible!

Pandemic is still out there and I think there will obviously be some protocols to be followed in training as well as games until the virus is gone for good. It is very important to follow the protocols otherwise it could be affecting games again and players and viewers don't want to see that happen.

as time goes on I become increasingly suspicious. Today I read that is in France the first confirmed case is from 27.December'19. So, just think how many matches have been played since then in full stadiums.
what when the matches start, ~20 meters distance, how?
