Ethereum would be the best investment at the moment. This coin has lost x14 times from its maximum and it is still one of the most perspective coins on the crypto market. Moreover, Ethereum 2.0 is coming soon and it will also push the price.
XRP and ADA are good choices. They are currently at a low price. But I think there is still room for XRP to fall. You can wait for the right time to buy.
compared to the coin you mentioned I prefer to buy purses and UTN which in my opinion have far more potential, and actually the price of ethereum now is also good to buy
That's about the project ETH, I fully support you, now many people say that all prices have been artificially lowered to create a new wave of interest that will raise the cryptocurrency market to a new level. 
everyone has their own list. buy big name altcoin on coinmarketcap are indeed provide a profit because it would be safer. Ripple may be a priority for purchase because it has good potential even up to now can shift the ethereum.
I bought some Ripple for $0.4, I am still losing money, I think BCHSV is also very suitable for purchase! And I think it may exceed ETH!
I strongly agree that some of the altcoins mentioned on the subject are really good to buy in preparation for the long term holding since some of coins are very affordable to invest. Like Ripple and holachain which are the most interesting coins and strong feedback by the community.

This all good altcoin but i would suggest some more altcoin XVG,NEM,PundiX and more good coin also available in the Market.
Buying is still unwise, the price of Bitcoin is still unstable, Bitcoin may continue to experience significant depreciation, and the altcoin is very fragile. You should be patient.

I am agree in general and now is a good time to buy more coins. But I am not sure about some of the coins in the list, particularly dogecoin. To be honest, I do not even understand at the expense of what it keeps the price...

I think it's better to buy alts once the market price value of cryptos stop from dropping further. In such case, I would have to consider Tether, XRP and Nem as my choice of alts for buying as I believe these 3 alts has the potential to grow further and yield promising profit. Once this temporary fluctuation will be over, few months from now cryptos will be back to normal.

Well i think that today is really the best time to buy more altcoin because as what we all have seen the price of the altcoin is really dropping because of the huge effect of the red market on its price. If we are going to buy more altcoin today we must need a big patience because anytime it will maybe continue to drop so let's hold it for good.
I agree that it is necessary to buy altcoins but not those that are popular and everyone knows about them; on the contrary, those coins that have not yet shown themselves or few people know about them 
I'm not sure this is the right time to buy crypto. In my opinion, the reason why crypto is rising today is due to the drop in the past few days, but it is not like a bear market end.

Holo and Cardano are the ones I like among your list. They are the cheapest so far with much potential when bullrun comes, they do have a great team as well. If bear market didn't happen they could have been one of the tokens that risen a lot. The best one would be the doge though, if you are into trading doge would be the best. It has tons of volume and cheaper too.
You are better putting at least half of it in Bitcoin. You may make more on alts but you can also lose the lot. 51% attacks are common. As market caps plummet coins don't have enough reserves to pay for their development (unless they have a very enthusiastic development team that is working for free). I think the market will bleed for some time. There may be an over correction where coins are selling below their raw cost to mine with the most efficient equipment at the lowest power prices before it goes up again.
Altcoins can make big gains but also can result in total loss. I certainly won't be guided by other peoples recommendations (trying to pump their bags).
Low market cap, good dev team, good real world usage and previous proven value is what I'll be looking for.

It looks too late to join in the bsv but the bitcoin cash pump has already started and i will predict it will grow no more than 50% on this day.
