I hope we are not expecting too much from Mike Tyson. Although he is a legend, consider his age—he is already 58 years old. This legend is already old, and I don't think it's right to get hyped based on how he fought during his prime years in boxing. Personally, I just hope that Mike will be safe once he fights Jake Paul. This young boxer has some talent and power to knock out his opponent, so Mike is at risk of getting knocked out too. Let's consider that possible scenario as well.

Yeah I’m getting really bored of watching the Paul brothers make a mockery of the sport. They want to be boxers and be taken seriously in the sport, OK cool, fight somebody your age and weight class who is even top 50 ranked. It won’t happen because they would lose badly. I mean Jake Paul lost to Tommy Fury lol.

It’s just all a big pageantry, I mean obviously I respect the money making and the hustle, it’s not their fault people are paying to watch this sham but it’s about time they fought a real, prime boxer.

Perry was properly estimated. Calling him a real fighter is being generous when it comes to his capabilities as a boxer. Perry is a pure brawler, but he has no defense, movement or any other useful skill besides coming straight forward hoping to land something without getting too severely hurt. That style might have served him in BKFC against other fighters with limited boxing skills, but in traditional boxing he is basically a human punching bag.

The Tyson fight was a bad idea when it was first announced and it is still a bad idea today. Tyson is a 58 year old who has lived a rough life and is facing health issues. This version of Tyson would lose to mediocre journeymen, against somebody who is a level above that and has decent power there is a risk he will be badly hurt.

It’s insane they intend to go through with it, but Jake has all these brands to promote, we saw the energy drinks and body spray cans shoved in our face throughout tonight’s broadcast, and the freak show is necessary for him to make his millions.

I was kind of discouraged by Tyson's fight with Jake Paul, I think that when the event arrives (if there is one) it won't be the same hype as it was supposed to be before, does anyone else have the same feeling as me? despite it being a fake fight, I wanted to see it at that moment, but the postponement of the event put an end to my desire to watch...

Yes, Netflix is with Mike Tyson fight and so Jake Paul has to scramble and look for DAZN to televise this fight via PPV, but it's very expensive so I guess majority of boxing fans here are not going to watch the fight live or not willing to pay that much.

Yep, that will be the case, I'm not willing to pay that price just to watch this two. There are other ways to watch it though, like in Facebook, there could be some users that might share this fight for us. In short, gonna be illegal stream or after the fight there could be highlights as well in social media even in Tiktok.

In any case, Jake could have lost some money here already as he is also the promoter of this fight under his company. Perhaps he did take that risk as fans wanted him and Mike Tyson. But to please them and also to stay busy, he had to somewhat pay Mike Perry as "sparring" mate here.

I’m not going to pay anything to watch this fight but after seeing their face off I am slightly more interested. One thing I will say is that Mike Perry has an absolutely sick piece of jewelry to commemorate the event. I didn’t expect to see something like this but I am so happy to know we’re going to see more of this sort of thing in the future.

And with Perry 4:1 underdog in this fight, not sure if he can pull the biggest upset of his career here. And I do think that Jake Paul is going to take this fight seriously, I mean as you have said, if he losses here, it will be the end of the Mike Tyson fight.

Haha I completely agree with you and of course many people say the same thing where they think Paul is not really tough fighter, so far the only people he has beaten are people who are much older, apart from that some are not real boxing fighter.
After all, Nico Ali Walsh is still very young, he needs more experience and it would be much better for him to have some fights that could clearly improve his career, the fight against Paul is just joke.
Apart from that, seeing how both of them are clearly not ideal fighters, weight will affect everything and if it really happens it can ruin everything, there are lot of bad responses for him.
But that Paul, boxer who is really just looking for easier money and fame.

While I dislike Jake Paul as much as the next person, because lets be honest who would "like" a clown like him? I also still understand his system and what he is doing and why he is doing it. He is an "actor" in a sense, he isn't doing this because he thinks he is legit or anything like that, he does it because it makes money, and he carved up a little part of the world for his "boxing" matches that makes money.

Hate him as much as you want, I do, but that doesn't mean that he is not going to live a rich life, dude will live a super rich life all because of what he does here. I have always said the same thing, it's time for Logan or Jake to fight a real fighter, but they can't, so they get names. He's just trying to get media and spotlight for himself and consequently for this fight against Mike. He needs this to be able to live, literally. So, it makes perfect sense for him to act this way, talking nonsense to engage.

Lol...it's obvious, this is business for Netflix and I am sure that like you said, many like me will be forced to subscribe to Netflix that we've abandoned for months just because of the guy. He is a big name in the world of boxing and those who are mature enough during his reigning days will always appreciate him and want to watch him. This is the calculation of Netflix and if this continues to be successful for them as planned, viola, they will soon be streaming crucial sports events and even have a special branch for it like Netflix sports over time.

As for Mike Tyson's health issue, it is temporary and a new date is fixed, so Netflix can still go ahead with their plan as he will be back on his feet. The date is now the 15th of November which is a long months from now for everyone to have done their homework. I believe the fight will happen.
