This question has been asked repeatedly and I always answer this way; If the airdropping project make it clear before the beginning of the airdrop, there are no issues. it is only when it is not made clear at the end they come up with KYC, that is when it will not look good to.

The issue with KYC is something I have never being cool with ever since it's inception into the Crypto Space. It is totally unfair for some ICO giving nothing more than $30 at the end of the day still expect us to go through KYC. This is sad and it should be stopped. I remember when I participated in Shipchain Airdrop and they deployed this Onfido KYC which to my Opinion is the most difficult KYC to pass. After all the stress of verifying data, Shipchain ended up not to be worth the stress and process as the total token that was given out per participants were less than <$30. Take for instance project like Hydro that didn't request for KYC gave out millions of token to Airdrop participants which were worth over $1000 later. Ever since I discourage Airdrop with KYC together with Bounty as they ain't worth the stress.

I don't think KYC for airdrops offered is fair for those who joined. Some ICO with airdropping is not also fine to get KYC for tokens worth almost nothing or a burger meal is not really fine. I observed it in some ICOs with airdrops that even with giveaways like that so small needs KYC? Don't fall for it guys, not worth it.

I do not agree with kyc when doing airdrops. It's not really needed, and our information is easily exposed when the project is not secure identity.

I of course beware of the passage of this procedure, I am concerned that I have to provide all their data, but if the project is good and you can take a chance.

It's really not worth it, I have a friend who joined an airdrop where you need to pass their KYC, he did pass the KYC but he only got $5 worth of that token, he gave away his sensitive information for just a small sum, I would not think of giving my information even if it's worth $100 dollar, there is a risk involved.

I think, kyc for airdrop and bounty, is not effective. especially for participants with accounts that are still low. for example, those with one account want to follow several airdrops so that the income they get is also good, but with the Kyc, they only have one chance. I think, kyc is better applied to someone with more than $ 3000 income.

KYC for airdrops?

Do you think its worth to use your identity for bunch of worthless tokens? I don't think so, don't put your identities at risk.

I agree about KYC in the airdrop program that you discuss. In the case of both bounty and airdrop programs, I did it, whatever the conditions.

I think that every ico and bounty should have KYC. Yes, a project should know their customer. And as is goes for bounty, it will help stop a lot of scammers who spam bounties with fake accounts.

I think airdrop KYC is not needed. Today they pay only $ 1-2 for airdrop. In my opinion, it's wrong to pass on your documents for this.

Right. I do not usually do airdrops that require me to kc. Unless it's a very good project, and they will pay you a lot of coins if you do it. Providing your information to unreliable projects is not necessary. Don't do that.

Happened to have done this in the past and annoying the airdrops were worthless that I saw it that  I wasted my time, the meaningful ones don't even require it. This time I Ignore any airdrop that requires KYC, may do kyc for exchange, some bounties but not airdrop

when one scamming method becomes too common that everyone knows about it then that method becomes useless so the scammers have to change it a bit. in this case the normal way of running ICO at some point became too obvious a scam that they had to change their methods. one of the methods they chose was to ask for a fake KYC so that they can pretend they are legitimate and are not scamming. now that method is becoming obsolete too so they have to find a new method of scamming.

Actually, I joined several airdrops such as POLYMATH.
They require all airdrop participants to submit KYC. But the result still worth it. The price of polymath token airdrop is so good.

KYC for airdrops is not worth giving our documents/identity. Look for other airdrops if you feel not giving up your KYC, for now almost all of the airdrops are just wasting my time.

I think that KYC is asking for really good projects, and to pass this procedure for $ 50, I do not see the point.

yes now with airdrops do not pay anything at all and do for the sake of little things KYC there is no sense. even if it turns out that it will be priced at $ 10, after listing the coin will fall to $ 1 and you cannot even sell it

I think that the projects that request this aim to move forward with the laws imposed in their countries
So these projects may be secured in the future

I think airdrops are good with kyc to get rid of and give chance to other bounty hunter who want to airdrops and earn just kyc's purpose in the bounty to further strengthen security and to bounty huns who use mutiple account but not everyone with kyc in the bounty is legit the other scam also so be careful of joining in to other bounty.
