I personally do not have a problem with KYC, but collecting peanuts of tokens and what it amounts to in the future is worthless for me. I personally haven't signed up for airdrops for some time, as I see them as a waste of time and effort. Airdrops should be what are, airdrops! without any requirement of KYC for tokens receipt.

The KYC for airdrop is really a waste and should not be done because the number of Token for the airdrop is really small, accounting for less than 4% of the total Token supply. So if the airdrop campaign forced KYC, then I think most of them are scam or non-potential ICO project.

Requiring KYC for airdrops is not good, it's like you just pass your information for a cents, they will use your information for scamming people so don't join airdrops that needs KYC.

KYC which is practically you giving your documents and personal information to a third party is never a good thing and it always violates your privacy. so at the very least you want that third party to be someone who you can trust with your personal information.
an unknown ICO creator who can be literary anybody from a 10 year old kid to a hacker in North Korea is not someone who you want to trust with your personal information.

KYC (Know your customer) for airdrops token are scams, they pivot out the private information of several participants and offer them tokens that are worthless when listed on exchanges.
Funny enough, most of the projects becomes desolate (failed project) and what happens to kyc data's gotten ?? they are most probably sold on black markets to unknown buyers across the world.
Lets be smart and avoid unwarranted KYC.

I don't think KYC for airdrops offered is fair for those who joined. Some ICO with airdropping is not also fine to get KYC for tokens worth almost nothing or a burger meal is not really fine. I observed it in some ICOs with airdrops that even with giveaways like that so small needs KYC? Don't fall for it guys, not worth it.

i agree with you but for me personaly i noticed that generally the projects that ask for kyc for airdrops or bounties tend to be of high quality and sometimes hyped up and highly focused on regulation and being lawful in their specific jurisdiction basically covering their behinds. Grin So yeah if the project is good enough i'll do the kyc Wink

Never thought of that it makes sense. I would also add that KYC is a way to reduce airdrop participant and it might be asked after...

"Sorry guys, we need KYC to prevent bot users / regulation issues / *blabla*." let's say in brackets: THANK YOU for your participation and the publicity, you have been f***ed  Grin

Hi there, in my opinion it depends on the project. For exemple i had no worries doing KYC with Dfinity i had no hesitation. But with less than 35-50$ i would recommand not to go through KYC. Especially if the project is unknown, no way to be trusted.

Don't forget guys that you are giving your personnal informations and they might be used to steal your identity or recover some passwords. Think about it twice before filling a KYC.
