If I'm the woman there, I will not allow myself to get expose myself with other people and will not wear a mask. Not weird but the face doesn't matter anymore.

Not maybe but they really are protecting their employees and the business too because one case can completely ruin their business and will go back to closing again.

That's a lot of money at stake, so casinos has to ensure that no one gets tested as it could infect the other as well.
Yeah, it looks weird also as we usually go in a casino to enjoy, look for beautiful girls and we look at the face first, but we can't expect that now.

I believe that most casino goers now are just those who are really constant with their gambling habit.

Why? because they are willing to take the risk just to gamble.

As of June 26, the Washintong will require the use of face mask in public spaces. IMO, this is a measure that should have been taken from the beginning in the USA.

https://coronavirus.wa.gov/information-for/you-and-your-family/face-masks-or-cloth-face-covering

I hope it is a requirement throughout the USA because the incidence of new cases in this nation is still growing. If you observe in Las Vegas only the personnel of the Casinos wear masks. Take a look at Golden Gate Hotel & Casino in this article, there is a video of the protocols they are using.

https://www.latimes.com/espanol/vida-y-estilo/articulo/2020-06-12/la-extrana-reapertura-de-las-vegas-atrae-multitudes-algunas-enmascaradas-otras-no

For example, in my country, Venezuela, we wear face masks when we leave the house, in supermarkets the staff puts antibacterial gel on our hands and the banks also take our temperature. The use of the facial mask is a norm to enter a commercial establishment.

Which is wrong, it's weird.. that woman should not be wearing mask, how can we see here face. lol.. (picture was taken from the article shared).

Maybe they are trying to protect their employees so the casino are 100% covid-19 free but we don't know about their customers or clients.

The Casinos in my country also opened their doors, but it is for VIP members only.
What does it mean by allowing VIP members only?
Is it a way to limit the number of visitors to casinos, buddy?
Yep, I support the idea to apply strict precautionary measures. This should be the right option as it is too risky if suddenly allow all people to visit casinos. People are hard to control if they are in a big number. But it should be easier to control once the visitors are limited. Moreover, they are VIP members who are probably already having a good reputation. They will obey even the casinos apply more strict rules nowadays.

The Casinos in my country also opened their doors, but it is for VIP members only. They also implemented very strict precautionary measures to reduce the spread of the virus. (Example : Only a few people are allowed to play at tables and every second Slot game was switched off to keep a safe distance between gamblers etc..)
All the staff are wearing full PPE and smoking are prohibited within the casino complex. So, I can understand that countries want to open up casinos and other businesses, because they are losing profits and taxes... but the USA has the highest infection rate in the world, so I cannot understand why they are so reckless.  Roll Eyes

The USA being the highest infection is because of their leaders like in Las Vegas who wants the economy to get up than minimizing the infection, they want cities to open up because they are not used to being lockdown, there are even anti lock down protest can you imagine that, lock down is the answer for the spread and yet they are protesting against.

It's true that coronavirus is very dangerous but if we lock the cities for months, shut down the mills, then in a few months we will have famine.  if people do not have enough money then this is normal that various crimes will also increase.  so, I think lockdown is not a solution for this time. we need to keep our economy afloat.  so, we should continue our work according to the social distance, and of course all the hygiene rules must be strictly followed.

There would be lots of things that would happen if lockdown would continue and as you mentioned on where famine and increase in crime rate will surely happen since people
would really strive for them to live or survive but since they dont have any work to generate income from then there would be no other options left but to take into that path.

We are now on the new normal- We know its hard but we need to adapt into it because if we dont then we wouldnt surely survive.People wont die in virus
but die since you dont have anything to eat.

Casinos would be re-opened since these businesses are the ones who do also generate big taxes.

That's why it takes time for the vaccine to be release because they have to study it carefully, remember, we are talking of millions of people who will use these vaccine once it's out, it's different from the cure as vaccine is use to prevent people from getting infected.

They need to test more and more vaccines before release. But the casino will not wait for that long because they are in a hurry to make money again, so the casino will still try to open, but they will need to use the protocol from the government, and make sure that they can check all people who come to their place. They need to check all of their employees too because they don't want to see if their employees get the infect virus.

Clinical trials of the coronavirus vaccine in humans have already begun in Russia. Doctors promise to finish testing and launch the vaccine in mass production in early autumn.
Okay, It makes sense if we look at what's written in the article you shared with me. If everything runs smoothly and successfully, then yes it can be ready in September. But it still has a chance to be extended if it needs time for further testing. There is always another unexpected scheme that we don't know to happen. However, I support it will be ready as soon as possible.  Smiley

I very much hope that this will be the case. Especially while other countries and organizations are still developing a vaccine. No one has started testing on people except Russia yet.

It is completely impossible to cure a person of the virus. You can only treat the consequences and complications caused by it. Only the human immune system can fight the virus.
In order for the immune system to be strong against the virus, a person needs to be vaccinated. Now vaccinations are being developed in several countries and I think they will be ready by September.

But production can still take months remember if the vaccine is effective, it should be manufactured in millions to supply the whole population with infection, but if they can supply even in a small percentage of the population, the hard lock down can ease up, we all hope that vaccine is not very costly and affordable even to poor countries.

As far as I know the Russian military. They don't waste words. If they say that they can start mass production of the vaccine in a short time - they will do it. The main thing is that the vaccine was successfully tested on volunteers.

Even if vaccines are available, IMO, it is still not advised to be complacent, there are issues that vaccines could have side effects or could even make the scenario worst if not tested well. Particularly the dengvaxia which endangers the people who took it as having more risk to be more vulnerable to infections.

One other thing that might happen is that, if these vaccines became approved in the market, people will feel safe, leading to more covid cases and making things worse and the supply of vaccines might not be enough.

I'm okay with these casinos being open as long as people will still take precautionary measures to ensure safety.

It will not lead to more cases since once a person is already vaccinated, he will not anymore be infected by the corona virus, that's what I understand, it's like a protection against the virus though virus will still stay, that's why its necessary for every one of use to get this vaccine once out.

https://indianexpress.com/article/explained/how-close-are-we-to-coronavirus-covid-19-vaccine-what-is-the-testing-process-6471283/

The third and final phase of human testing will start next month for the vaccines developed by three companies - Oxford-AstraZeneca (Britain), Sinovac Biotech (China) and Moderna Inc (United States).
Many countries are trying to found out the vaccine. I hope that soon we will see one or more countries will release the vaccine to the public, so that helps the hospital to cure the infected people. Moreover, we don't have to worry or afraid of that virus because we have the antidote to cure newly infected people with the right vaccine. But people need to be careful even if the vaccine is found because the vaccine will need time to distribute to all countries needed.

I told you about the news that I know about. The vaccine is being developed not only in the countries you mentioned. And in Russia, indeed, trials of the vaccine on volunteers have begun. Trials will end in August and mass production of the vaccine is expected to begin in autumn.

It is true, that's why the vaccine is really needed to stop the pandemic. Once the vaccine is ready in all countries in the world, then it is the end of the pandemic. All people can be cured by the vaccine and Covid-19 isn't a nightmare anymore.

How do you know it will be ready in September? Do you read a valid article or news?
I am not sure that the vaccine will be ready in all the countries in the world in the next 3 months. I think it will take more time and likely be ready at the end of this year or even the next year. But yeah, who knows it will be ready faster.  Cheesy

sept is too soon for the vaccine. a potent vaccine will be years in the making. though with our sophisticated technology it may be cut short. maybe at the end of this year but this sept, i seriously doubt that.
lets just hope that this will be available soon so people are not that paranoid whenever they go out of their house.
I am not sure that the vaccine will be ready in Sept, but it is not too long to wait because it's about 3 months. Let see what will come in Sept because I see that the number of people who get infected can increase anytime. I hope that until the vaccine can really be found, people will not risk their lives by hanging out there, which prevents the new case of Covid-19.
