Greed is bad Greed has hurt me only, if I took the right decision at right time, today I had a good bank balance for sure. But its never late when we understand the things. Its a bitter lesson I have learned this year. Always quit the trade when you are in good profit. Do not be more greedy for more profit. Certainly such bitter lesson helps me going forward in crypto market to take the right decision at right time.

What valuable lesson(s) have you learnt from the crypto space in 2018 and how is it going to shape your involvement in the space going forward? Looking forward to your responses, hoping one or two persons learn a thing or two from them.

Don't be greedy this is the most important thing since most lose money holding and expecting more profits and now the hold coins are valueless.  I already learned my mistake and won't happening again.

Just try to sell them all when they have reached the peak price and this can be considered as the main lesson from this year. Always try to remember if this one is a speculation market and we can't believe in the sustainable increase on its price,

the lesson that we can take from crypto 2018 is that we have to be smart in predicting when to sell and when to buy and we have to go with the flow so that we don't fall into big losses.

Bitcoin didn't teach us but we teach ourselves from this system where uncontrollable and cannot be denied volatile. Whether you agree with me or not it is our own who teaches to be patient and diligent to deal bitcoin more effective than punching and punching in the air without a target. Even bitcoin will pump, it is not the one who say "hold or sell" but it is ourselves to decide what we think the right thing to do for the better result.

The markwt is fast changing and we should make sound desicions at once and it must be time decisive and fast approaching. It is best if we will do our study before we get to involve in this market

Crypto is a world that is fluctuating and speculative, so we must be careful and wise to respond. No need to get huge profits but still in hope, set a profit of at least 25% of capital but real.

Some of the valuable lessons I learnt about crypto in 2018 is that Cryptos is a long term investment looking into it with a short term perspective is a big challenge to me and more so I now understand how big investors 'whales' can manipulate the price of BTC in reference to Mt.gox dumping of btc which invariably resulted in the drop in the price early this year.

Here are a few lessons I learned from crypto market in 2018:

- be more selective when choosing to invest in ICOs
- don't take for granted people's advices: nobody can predict tomorrow's price as market is too volatile
- most important: never, but never invest more than you can afford to lose.

The most important thing that I've learned is necessity to overcome greedy and always fix the profit, even with small parts.

One thing I have learned from crypto is that when the price is booming and if we have already got earned, sell it and do not wait for the price to go down. As long as we have earned we need to sell the coins and then buy back if we noticed that the project is still good and active in the market.

I have been willing to see a thread like this to discuss cryptocurrency in 2018 and several occurrences and impact on the space. A 5 year individual in the space should never be affected with the bear market if he had prepared so well. My basic lesson is never hodl in a bull market, you can hodl in bear market. There is no advantage to have held on to one's profit at the climax or peak of bull price.

There are many lessons that we can take when entering crypto in 2018, the ups and downs of coin prices make us more patient to face, there is a bch war that allows us to better understand the hash war that should not have happened. And all of this whale manipulation that we must be able to accept and we are again promoting crypto so that investors will trust the digital currency again.

HODLing is a stupid investment strategy. Cryptocurrencies are cyclical in nature with regular bull and bear market cycles that happen along much shorter time frames than other markets. Right now is a great time to start buying again and Dec 2017 and January 2018 were a great time to be selling. But as is normal human nature most people did the opposite.

My learning lesson in this year 2018 is
not to be much greedy in expecting to
much! because we dont really knows
what is really going on if we may fail
sometimes,so face the fact that not all
times will be our day.,so be ready and
admit anything.

There are some lessons that we can learn in crypto in 2018, one of which is how we can invest in a coin or ico so that it will be profitable in the future, or how to choose a good ico so that we don't get a scam project

What i've got during 2018 would be, we need to be really careful when selecting a project to join, cause there are many scam project that keep on appearing.
Also we need to always keep our eye to the market, cause it could change so much in a short moments if we don't want to miss any good chance from it.
This market can change very quickly and we can not know for sure what will happen next. If you want to invest, you should choose the time of uptrend because this is the time when people are most active and whales are always the people that make the market grow.
