Yes, I can review it tomorrow and add it to the list. If you want you can also review and rate it, otherwise I'll rate it myself, if it's ok?
For sure you can do this, because now I completely don't have time for it Smiley

  • You can also identify P2SH addresses in that explorer.
  • You might want to get rid of "/de" part (to show English version of the page[by default]).

Found a few more:

This is a great list and a great source of information, It was weird for me to see blockchain.com with that low rating but after seeing the other exprorers we can say they are better.

About the 3D blockchain project, it's awesome, i didn't know something like that exists. Thanks again for the info.

My favorite blockexplorer for segWit P2SH addresses is Chainflyer Bitflyer https://chainflyer.bitflyer.jp/Lang/en-US

Added, thanks for the contribution, your rating and the formatting.  Wink

Very useful thread, it's good to have block explorers listed in one place. You can take a look at another explorer - it's https://blockexplorer.one/btc/mainnet. But I never used it, so I can't give any comments about it
My favorite explorer is Blockchair. But mostly I use Blockchain.com, because their name simply comes first to my head usually.

And can you tell criteria that you used to give ranking? Because  I as not tech savvy guy, I don't see huge differences between best block explorers.
Rating is not really representative but I tried to consider the features (like bech32 support // SegWit-Addresses (P2SH) identifyable // additional details like fees (some explorers often confuse Sat/Byte and Sat/vByte)), the general layout and if it's easy to use. At least these criteria are relevant for the ones I've rated. The other ones were suggested and rated by the people who suggested it, don't know which strategy they did apply.
The best block explorers on the list are similar and sufficient for everyday use. My favorite explorer is Blockchair, too.  Smiley

@1miau

Looks like everything is working fine again with this explorer:
https://btc-explorer.com/

Just tested it few times, and all is good for me.
Yes, it's now working fine for me, too. I also tried from my phone, also working.

If you want to rate it, I can include in in the list.

Short note: the direct SegWit checking feature for the addresses seems to be not working:

Says "no" but the address is nested SegWit: https://blockchair.com/bitcoin/transaction/db6d2b441a5964cd4c3ccdb7316738b020def1fdf2726201f07cc74016844e50

But in general it's a good explorer, it's still possible to check the outgoing transaction in detail and then it's possible to detect if the address is SegWit or not.

I personally used this explorer-https://www.blockchain.com/explorer (Which is so useful)and it is very convenient for me to check all my transactions.
Also, you can use these explore as well- https://live.blockcypher.com/btc/

I think a reclassification with such ratings would be useful for beginners.
I do not know if these explorers are suitable for beginners but it is an addition:

Explorer by history:

https://oxt.me/: This explorer helps display dates for transactions at a given time (You can track the change in balance in the form of timelines charts.)

Self-Hosting:
https://github.com/janoside/btc-rpc-explorer: You can use it using the Github page.

Dark Web explorers:
http://explorernuoc63nb.onion/ or http://explorerzydxu5ecjrkwceayqybizmpjjznk5izmitf2modhcusuqlid.onion/: https://blockstream.info/

Sorry, I did not use the above format, I use a mobile browser and it is difficult to modify it. I hope the idea is clear.
No problem, I'll list them as "other interesting sites" like the one yazher suggested (and include them without rating), since oxt.me is rather an historical tool to analyze addresses.

https://btc-explorer.com/

Unfortunately, the explorer doesn't work for me, it's showing "no transactions found":

I think problem with this explorer is that your IP has been blacklisted. Reporting on right side as 'Errors1'
Looks like it is using blockchair for that:
"Your IP address is temporary blacklisted due to exceeding usage of API resources. Please apply for an API key by contacting us at [email protected]..."

Strange, I tried with different IPs and it doesn't work. Especially because the explanation makes no sense for me and Blockchair is working. Will try again in a few days, but even if it works for few people it can be useful.  Smiley

It'd be great if you could mention features for each blockexplorer which stands out, such as basic transaction analysis on https://www.walletexplorer.com/
Yes, I'll try to use the last column (comments) in my table to describe special features. (if enough space is left)

Yes, it's fine, I've just added "Yes" to "bech32 supported?" and I think it deserves a better rating. ^^
But that's up to you.  Wink

Tradeblock.com No No ?? / 10 PointsLafu

Still need a rating but it's horribly slow... ^^
And has no bech32 supported.

i suggest adding a new column about their API and whether that also supports bech32 addresses or not. most of them don't last time i checked. https://www.blockonomics.co/ and https://btc.bitaps.com/ do support it to my knowledge.

Good idea but that would exceed the size of my table and in general I thought more about a simple table for Beginners + Help.
If you want, you can copy parts of my table and create a technical version in Technical Discussion including also some known issues like displaying the accurate fees, since quite a few sites are confusing sat/byte and sat/vbyte (at least the last time I checked). Like Blockchair.com is giving a very detailed list for that.

It's very useful, but that would be too much for my table.

AFAIK Blockcypher added bech32 support a few days ago: https://blog.blockcypher.com/blockcypher-adds-bech32-support-f7d236a586fd

there is also blockstream which i don't really like since i can't access it without a VPN!!! but it is good since they support all kinds of scripts and the details button show you the script type and the OP codes.

I detected that site one year ago but forgot it's name, so many thanks for the reminder.
Why such a bad rating, only because it's not accessible from your country?  Cheesy
I liked the site very much when I detected it, I'm not even sure why I forgot about it.

Have you tried this one? this is a 3D Block explorer I don't understand how to use it. But if you see the Demo video, it looks cool.

This is their official site: https://blockchain3d.info/

you can also look there on how to use it.
Wow, never heard from it but it's really impressive.
I'll create a new category called "other interesting sites" for sites that aren't really blockexplorers but related to it (I didn't try too, but it seems more like a visualisation software, not like the common block explorers.)

That's weird, I don't remember them blocking users from specific countries. Or is it because of your ISP?

They also have a tor link if anybody wants to increase their privacy.

Maybe there is something broken or dosnt work as it should , dont know exactly.
Yeah, maybe the problem will be fixed tomorrow or in a few days.

Great to have more suggestions here, can you both rate the block explorers like Saint-loup did? If you do so I'll include them in my list and link your comment.
