I think that they are the best kind. You do not have to worry about watching the coins all of the time and with long term investments you are only selling when the price of the coin goes up and bull. I believe long term investments because if you look the prices for example neo eth btc. You can see really amazing profit opportunities. People earned with these coins billions of dollars with only holding. We need to hold best tokens also we need to hold some low cap coins. We will not see the future surely. But i still believe we can be rich still holding only ethereum.
I cannot tell you for sure that benefits/profits will be gain from that. It is really individual thing for sure when it comes to charts especially that main reason with community that joins that pump and you must be carefully with that - monotoring . But in most causes it really benefitial way to do so trading.

I prefer investing long term rather than short term as due to the crypto's volatile nature, the price of the coins keeps on dwindling and you can only earn good amount of profits if you invest long term.
The coins which I prefer the most for long term investments are Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin , Monero as they have been in the financial market for a long term and considering their statistics, have shown great growth in their market capitals. The coins have a good demand among the institutions and also best development teams behind them working on their blockchain to make the coins better. These coins can earn you good profit returns.
I think that investing in the long term is still quite profitable. The market is now at the bottom and if you invest in cryptocurrencies now and will keep for 2 - 3 years, then you will get a good profit and you will not have to once again risk your savings trading.
