How are you handling your portfolio? How much are risking in % of your portfolio in short term gain vs. Long term gain?
If you don't think about the money earnings now then you go to the long term. Long term is you need a planning , for what reason you take the long term and why you hold it in long time. Also you must holf risk in the long term because you don knoe if your list on your portfolio, the others might gone. For the short term it is only matter at the earnings. So  i go to long term because it can have a big profit somefay if you come sure to your portfolio

It depends on the tokens (AKA Team and project). Short and long term, both need TIMING and FLEXIBILITY (bout to hold is easier). Usually I'm a long term holder but not always. Have a nice day

I prefer long term because the profit is more visible than short term

Apparently, I am not handling things very well, but if I were, I am a firm believer that short term investments can be more profitable if you make the right decisions managing the situations.
Sometimes even if you make the right decisions when investing your funds, the market can turn so unexpectedly for you that you can lose your invested funds. The market is an unpredictable mechanism. Therefore, I prefer long term. It is less risky

You can earn big money from short term investment, sometimes you can do x2 x3 in few days, but you can lose fastly at the same time. But if you hodl good coin for long term, you can do x10 x20 in few months and you dont lose money like short term, I think.

In my opinion long term investment is better than short term. I am holding long term and short term both in 80:20 ratio. Short terms are those which are new and highly volatile, I buy them at the tie of dip and sell as soon they go on a rise. Long terms are with good steady growth and have high potential to grow further.

To make profit from short-term investments you need to have advanced knowledge of trading on the stock exchange. Therefore, I prefer long-term investments. There is no need for serious knowledge of trade, basic enough.  Smiley

I am more inclined to long-term. This will not keep me thinking about the market all day. Both options have their own merits. I will also choose some nice coins as short term.

Ideally, you should diversify your portfolio using a pyramid scheme. Your biggest bag should be the big, long term coins like BTC, ETH, and LTC and the top (smallest bag) is pure shitcoin which you can expect 100x on it Cheesy If you want something more detail, I recommend you to use this scheme from @CryptoCobain

When I first met btt on the first day, I always saw a lot of people suggesting that they hold coins for a long time, but I never listened to it. So until now, I still did not earn money, and those friends around me who hold a long time, have made a lot of money.

Some coins for long term and some coins can be profitable in short term trading. So the person trading in should be very much aware of the market prices of the past atleast 6months flow graph of the coin you select to trade. Then you start planning for long term or if short term.

I think that if you take a monet in the long period, you obviously will not lose on the crypto-currency market.

The strategy depends more on you, on the skills to trade and on how much time you spend on all this. In my case, I trade by a long-term strategy.

Actually you can do both at the same time, it maximizes the profit that you could  get though it's very tasky. What i prefer is long term since it has a greater probability of profit and more secured rather than risking in other altcoins for a day trade. Long term trade is more predictable and secured.

It's depend upon the situation. If you need money everyweek or every month, you need a shorterm goal,so you must invest in a shorterm investments of altcoin.BUT if you have extra money and you want it to grow, make it long term. Smiley

For me? I prefer longterm than shorterm because I know that I will gain more. Wink

It is very difficult to predict the behavior of the crypto currency, making predictions about the future price is a very difficult task. But based on some news from respected sources it is possible to make assumptions about the price, but it works at the forecast for a long period of time. Therefore, I prefer long-term investment.
